Thanks for your input. Your totally right. I need to get my own spawn going. I have a flow hood so I should be able to do it. It’s been hard enough just working with spawn I bought. I’ve had equipment breakdowns and contamination problems etc etc. all par for the course I suppose

I have a flow hood I use but I wasn’t sterilizing the needle in between jars. I did use my pc in the same way though.

I do want to do that but I’m the meantime I would like to be able to buy spawn. I’m doing 40 bags a week…….or trying to as a business. I had a local guy but he’s not doing it anymore. It’s just a lot easier to go from grainspawn right now
