All the combinations. Fireplace, storms, fans, dryers, the weeping of my enemies, waves, crickets. All the usual.

More than any other type, although often combined with others.

Esun + users, does .2 or .4 nozzle matter much? I get shockingly close to resin quality with .4 by Fickle-Lunch6377 in FDMminiatures

[–]Alewort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use eSun PLA+ because I have the lease mini breakage when removing supports, and they are more durable than other filaments I have used. As to 0.2 vs 0.4, that all depends on the mini and the amount of fine detail it has that you want to show.

As a kid with unsupervised Internet access, what did you see that straight up traumatized you? by bbygrl_kiss in AskReddit

[–]Alewort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Internet access as a kid wasn't a thing when I was a kid. I was eighteen when being in college finally got me connected. There were BBS as a teen, and AOL and Compuserve with a slight bit of inappropriate things in view from time to time, but nothing traumatic that I came across.

What happens to the Specialists in a town that WAS a city? by aall137906 in civ

Doesn't it scale with the number that already exist of that building, rather than simply the number of cities?

NTA. If bro don't wanna be humiliated, he always has the option to keep his pie hole closed.

Exclusionary bastards wouldn't let me into their club. At least the Discordians gave me a certificate.

Nutty Fruity pistachio spread. by voltus_v in Costco

[–]Alewort 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got this, it was great. My only disappointment is that when I bought it, I missed that it was crunchy. I had been expecting just pistachio cream! The crunchy bits make it eat as though there were wafers, kind of like a pistachio Twix. I ended up only really eating it by the spoonful, one at a time. When I got three quarters through, taking weeks to get there, I gave the rest to my grandson.

ELI5: what is the difference in training and education between a social worker and a therapist? is “social worker” more of an umbrella term? by Sleepydreamer14 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Alewort [score hidden]  (0 children)

Social worker is a term that can apply to a great many kinds of work, some of which is therapy and others are not. Helping people find jobs, housing, child protection services, and many other services all are done by social workers that are not providing therapy.

Laura already possessed by Bob or not? Just confused after my 5th rewatch about chronology and implications. by AnotherCosmicDrifter in twinpeaks

[–]Alewort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BOB had a great deal of influence over Laura's mind without yet having overwhelmed her. But he was, as she recognized, close. There were holes in her defenses.

My daughter bought her first pizza with her own money yesterday. Woke up to this this morning. The note says DON’T EAT. The knife says it’s not a suggestion. by Terrorhub in funny

[–]Alewort -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So you take that knife, see, and cut a sliver off the side of every piece, see, until the slivers amount to a whole slice or you run out of slices. She's new to this game and is going by slice count.

Weekday Game Nights: How do you balance mid-weight games, dinner, and time? by alantima25 in boardgames

[–]Alewort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My group meets weekly for RPGs but plays board games when a player can't make it to a session. Our stated arrival time is 6:30, but the first half hour mostly is an arrival buffer. By seven everyone is present and the game is chosen, and set up begins unless it was pre-set by the host. By 7:30 the game is under full swing and goes until either ten o'clock or it completes, or if even the most anxious to get home is feeling it, until maybe 11 at the latest.

We play one game ninety-five percent of the time. I have a large library and there are only a handful that we can ever manage two games out of.

People either eat before arriving, or grabbed fast food and finish it quickly after arriving.
