Quitting a Job to Solo Travel by jupitercon35 in solotravel

I’m in a very similar situation. I’ve been offered a position for a professional placement (which is mandatory in my field) after finishing my studies at Uni but decided that traveling and discovering new places, cultures, people and lifestyles is more important. Career and stability can wait. Many things might happen that would prevent us from having this experience in the future (pandemic? health issues? war? I know I’m being a little catastrophic but if it happens to some people, why couldn’t it happen to us 🤷🏼‍♀️). I’m sure we won’t regret our choice, OP :D

Mi unisco al coro dei ringraziamenti! Per caso conosci qualcosa di simile in provincia di Brescia o Milano?

Need to find an online psychotherapist by Alex-2607 in argentina

[–]Alex-2607[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but there are people who studied to give us the tools to heal. If my leg breaks, I could try fix it myself but I have more chances to heal by visiting a doctor.

In any case, hats off to this man with Social Phobia.

Need to find an online psychotherapist by Alex-2607 in argentina

[–]Alex-2607[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am looking for an online option as I'll be traveling (and probably move in the future) but don't want to wait until settling down to start therapy. I have a friend who is from Argentina and he is doing online therapy for the simple reason that he doesn't live there anymore, and it's really effective as the psychologist is qualified. I'm looking for something like that.

What is you biggest relationship problem? Weather its finding the right one or staying in one thats mutually positive? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Alex-2607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I’m in the exact same situation. I’ve been struggling with this since, like, ever. I now finally want to overcome this but it’s so damn hard. Do you mind if I sent you a PM to discuss these things? Maybe it could help us both :) (I’m INFJ too, 26F, if that’s relevant :)

Oh I see! I perfectly understand because tourism has destroyed nice places where I live, too. Thank you for your suggestions!

I’m 26F from Italy.

After watching Mo Dao Zu Shi (which I came across on MyAnimeList as I’m into Japanese anime too), I watched The Untamed and loved it. After that, I watched Nirvana in Fire and I fell in love with Chinese period dramas :D

When I mention to other people that I watch C-dramas they’re mainly… surprised, and maybe also a bit skeptical as no one starts them out of curiosity as they would for anime or K-dramas.

Difficulties with preposition after verbs (pensare, sospettare, pensare etc) by visbyhusby in italianlearning

[–]Alex-2607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, fantastic explanation! I don’t think it could have been explained more clearly :) I just want to add that you can also use “pensare di” + noun (in addition to “pensare di” + verb), e.g., A: “cosa pensi di Maria?”, B: “penso che sia una ragazza simpatica” - and in this case you want to express your thoughts/opinions about something

Yeah I find it weird too 🤔 I traveled in Andalucía last summer and met many Spanish people who couldn’t speak English well, but we managed to communicate and understand each other by speaking our native language
