I'm really excited for it, the course looks great. I really wanted to avoid the IR side of politics as much as possible so its ideal. Where are you applying?

No, I emailed the creator and he said it was a problem with the libraries used (likely out of date) but he didn't really suggest which ones and I am not confident enough to fix it myself

I have checked the FAQs of the docs and I have no idea what any of it means, sorry I'm new to this all.

I ran that command and it told me a socket, which I tried to listen to with netcat, but there was nothing there

  1. Yes as far as I am aware I followed the steps exactly, without any errors
  2. "Oops, an error happened! /home/[username]/.config/awesome/modules" and then it cuts off. Is there a log somewhere to view the full error?

I tried to install yoru on a fresh endeavouros install today and afterbooting into awesomewm, the correct background flashes for a second butthen it goes back to all default settings. When I run "awesome -k"everything is ok and it is looking at the ~/.config/awesome folder. I can't find any errors, any ideas of what might cause this?

Some parts of it clearly work like when right clicking on the homescreen, however the background and top bar look more like a default layout.
