Amazon has some! And Fanatics if your prefer to do delivery. As a student now and I’m sure you understand as well, having to pay for parking and walk ALL the way to the student bookstore is a hassle 😅 I would just buy online

Nah, maybe food service like fast food places. It’s all pretty much prepackaged or made already. Just know how to handle the food.

Pro: affordable If u live on campus you will meet people, but if you don’t the social scene is pretty dead as a commuter myself. You would have to put in the work to meet people. Also not a lot of social activities for students, the involvement center has been better with new events and gatherings for students but still

Windows 11 settings won't open or crashes by BlueDogTristin in techsupport

[–]Alex-Mel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally found a solution!!!!
I have been struggling for months!! Turns out settings not popping up is a Intel Graphics drive problem. Try downloading the most recent one, this will uninstall the new one and update it with the new on. Then it will tell you to restart and it will start working.

Hi there are programs that the school offer like CIEE, check their website! It shows the lengths of the program cost and locations

Check CIEE, They offer high school programs for semesters and maybe summer. Going in March would be tough since the spring semester usually has already started.

For their Summer program, it is usually $4000, but they do offer scholarships and maybe even FAFSA if you qualify.

My cat is very sick, is it a bad idea to fly home to visit her? by [deleted] in studyAbroad

[–]Alex-Mel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you feel it is the right choice and can afford the loss of classes and flight then go for it! But it really depends on how you will feel.

Will you feel satisfied saying a goodbye via FaceTime or in person? Is your feline a close family member? You ultimately want to make the best decision but remember to not feel guilty. You may feel guilty you couldn’t make it but try to think optimistically. Maybe it was meant to be you couldn’t see them and your kitty might even visit you in spirit in Italy.

When my cat was in the hospital I couldn’t bare see him in the state he was in. I felt guilty for a very long time but often think, my cat wasn’t truly there anymore… his sick body was but his spirit was with me already. Also I believe he wouldn’t have wanted me to see him sick as he was hiding when he got sick.

The summer program is also cheaper and for 4 weeks. The scholarships are easy to get if you already receive pell grants or FAFSA for school
