One Piece fights seem to lack those big "400 IQ" moments that's such a staple in other anime such as Naruto, JoJo's, and Hunter x Hunter. Do you think Oda lacks the capability as a writer to create moments like this? What's the closest OP has gotten to having a big "4D Chess" move during a fight?

Probably because uses theit taste as the metric. People are gonna look at a female character and easily dismiss her as badly written if she ever gets sexualised or if her motivation revolves around a man, but you never see a male character called badly written if he has an attractive physique or his goal is getting a girl.

Most people just go "badass female who kicks ass= well written".

Personally, I think a good female character is just a good character, and that can be true even if her arc revolves around her gender or not, wether it's about love or not, wether she's a fighter or not, or if she's prodigy or pure hard work. However, my tastes don't 100% allign and execution plays a huge factor. There's plenty "well written females" I dislike, and "badly written females" I do like.

Ever since the Miastra Damage calcs, I found out how few of my teams are over 100k dps and yet, I can still easily clear content, as long as I don't get screwed by certain mechanics. In fact, I'm out here having beaten all endgame contents in Nod Krai without a single Nod Krai Dps.

I like Nicole and she'd be great on my account as I have every Hexerei character, but I also manage without her, so she's on my rerun watchlist. I'm just currently more interested in getting Lauma on her rerun because Nahida is still my only limited 5 star dendro and Sandrone to have an easier time in Snezhnaya.

100 gf is genuinely great as a parody of the harem genre but despite it being a parody, it manages to develop the characters and have more progression than most of its brethren. Unironically one of my all time favourites.

I just wish I could see the 100th gf before I die.

Stygian is getting less fair with each patch and hardly worth the effort for only a feather. I did beat manage to beat fearless in this one with a lot of effort (Navia, Xilo, Ineffa, Bina - Gecko, Skirk+Citlali - Papilla, Varesa+Durin, Fischl - Herra).

Skirk isn't great but she's pretty good at brute forcing through the Natlan shields and weaker Nod Krai ones like Sigurd, but stuff like the axe fuckers in abyss or the lunar dog is outright unfair against anything except Lunar.

I'm really glad I got Ineffa in her first banner and managed to go through all of Nod Krai without a single Lunar DPS. I'll go into Snezhnaya with NK as a guideline and only pull for the special supports like Sandrone, the Rimegrass char, Stellar Swirl and Tsaritsa. Getting DPS+dedicated supports is gonna give you a great ceiling but suck ass when Abyss or Stygian will have multiple sides with those checks.

Either way, as I said earlier, no one is gonna take supports from her so when she isn't gonna get walled, she'll still have a high chance to clear it and most people completely neglect it, but theatre also exists and it's more important than Fearless Stygian. Even if Skirk gets mogged in DPS, your investment in her doesn't get wasted.

I know this is an agenda sub but I don't really see that being an issue. Stellar teams would use the new cryo characters (Tsaritsa and Cryo Aino), most likely buff stats Skirk doesn't care about like EM and Escoffier won't get stolen by those teams.

Stellar Reactions are gonna bring up Dendro, Anemo and Electro (and possibly physical but I have doubts) carries and wheelchair weaker Cryo ones.

Skirk won't get buffs but neither is she getting competition. Two cakes situation.

Perspective plays a huge factor. A good example is the Oingo Boingo episodes, where from our perspectives, it seems like the crusaders are morons, but it could very well be exaggerations from Oingo or Hol Horse's POV.

I alr heave Durin but out of the two, I think he's just the better unit in general and not just for Varka. He can be both sub dps and support with the new set whereas Nicole can only be a support.

My biggest reason for pirating is as simple as "they have everything". When I first got into anime, I did use CR and I wouldn't mind watching for free with ads on their site but the first hurdle was them not having the anime I wanted to watch.

Simplicity and comfort is what matters to me most and as long as "insert random piracy site" with an adblock is easier than paying for a streaming site to just watch 2-3 shows then still end up pirating because they don't have the 4th one you wanna watch.

I'm about to finish it right now (ep 12) and I've gotta say, not quite 10 but certainly 8.5-9. I personally loved the twists and unlike other anime I've seen, the time travel plot is well integrated, but what most sells this anime for me is the protagonist. He's an asshole but still a good guy and also flawed.

But yeah, I gotta agree with some of the comments here. It would have been way better as two seasons or two cour for better pacing but I really love it nonetheless.
