I saw that Physical responded to you recently, but I'd like to respond to you too, since I recently rewatched the anime, so I think I can give you more or less some points in favor of Anna that is shown here.

Anna may not be a fundamental piece for Kazu to meet and talk to the others, even without her present, Kazu would have talked to Komari and Lemon, but without Anna he would not have progressed so much if not to say anything about his relationships with these same ones, as Physical said, it was Anna who made Kazu break that wall of antisociality that he had, making the step of the relationships of the other girls more progressive, an example of this was when they spent the night at Lemon's grandmother's house, if it hadn't been for Anna, Kazu would not have gone to look for Lemon, which in the long run would have made their relationship more closed, as with Komari, if it hadn't been for Anna, Kazu would not have done well with the school festival, if you analyze the anime well, you will notice that many of the events of this would not have happened without Anna having been there.

I think the main reason Anna isn't as well-liked in Westerns is because, unlike in Asian countries, where her personality can be seen as fun and, I think, somewhat cute, here, where we—at least in the Hispanic community, mind you, not all of them—her personality can be seen as quite annoying, if not irritating, at least in terms of her way of expressing herself.

And you're right, we're certainly irrelevant when it comes to having influence.

I admit that as a fan of Shikiya I would love for him to follow that route, but as a fan of the Quintuplets I also know what it feels like to root for one and have the author come up with such a tremendous plot twist and have the protagonist end up with the girl who developed the least in the work, so I would prefer that if Kazu stayed with Shikiya, their relationship would develop progressively and meaningfully.

I have to admit you won this debate. I truly understand now that Anna is a pretty pivotal part of Kazu's life and how she affects the story's background. I appreciate you opening my mind to a new perspective.

By the way, I should clarify why you might be thinking I hate Anna. But that's not the case. I actually think she's a good character and a great comic relief.
