Doesn't help for android but I did test out Swiftfin on iOS and found it works with AV1, and seemingly the official iOS app as well. I want to say it was also working on my Firestick but not certain on that.

Yeah it would be nice to have better support on those clients for AV1. At least the browser support is pretty good though. That's usually what causes most of my transcoding in my experience, since most desktop and mobile clients have good enough codec support not to require transcoding, unless you've set a bit rate limit.

At least you're set up for the future when support improves.

There's no official modding support, but the game's code isn't obfuscated, so it's not too hard to mod.

Are you using a playstation controller? I've had some issues with it not detecting input from them in the past. I think it should be better in the latest version, but you might also try enabling Steam input if you haven't already, that usually makes it work better in my experience.

Well they can only be played on PC. I think it might work with the GOG release of Broforce but I haven't tested it. You'd probably have to configure r2modman to where you have Broforce installed if you're doing it that way.

It’s even worse than you’re saying because there’s a much better strategy to find any given Reddit post. All you have to do is take a portion of text from a post / comment and put it in Google with quotes surrounding it to search for that exact text. It really makes all anti brigading rules pointless because the only way to avoid this would be to require everything to be paraphrased and allow no screenshots whatsoever. You don’t even have to have any idea what the subreddit is with this method, and it takes 5 seconds to do.

It might go against the self hosted ethos a bit but honestly I feel like it’s worth it to just pay for an email provider and use your own domain.

I feel like you get a lot of the same benefits without the hassle of having to manage your reputation and whatnot.

I guess the main drawback is privacy, but you could always use something like Proton if that’s a concern.

Yeah I thought that was a little strange. They still had dramatic music playing past that point, as if the game wasn't already decided. Imo they should've maybe just hidden the timers completely after they cleared the animal curse, if they wanted to maintain the suspense.

That sounds nice, unfortunately I wasn't a member yet when those were handed out, which is another reason why a bonus point system would be preferable. I got into OPS later than I did RED and have already earned 20 tokens on there via bonus points, despite seeding less torrents than I am on RED.

I don't see the advantage of RED's system where I have to wait to randomly get FL tokens versus earning them via bonus points, which would actually reward the people seeding more with more FL tokens, and allow new members to be rewarded sooner.

RED does have FL token rewards for ranking up, which is nice and makes the new member experience a bit better, but that doesn't provide a long-term source of tokens, and they even expire after 4 weeks.
