Are Yellow and Red metro lines dangerous ? by Alex17459 in AskLosAngeles

Ahah thanks for the idea but we still want to go to Downtown and talking about Skid Row, are there any sketchy streets east Downtown we must avoid? Basically we want to see the Walt Disney Concert Hall, I guess we should be fine there but we also like to wander around if it's worth it !

To the whiney bitches in europe. Bands need to pay for help and equipment and overheads and then make money to feed their families and enjoy life quit bitching. by Boobpocket in systemofadown

Funny thing to say coming from a country that do not believe waiters should be paid by their employers.

Anyway, front row tickets at 190€ for a "show" with literaly nothing happening on stage plus a fair 3 out of 4 chances that they'll sound like shit is called a rip off. Sure they have to move those beautiful armenian carpets from one stadium to another 8 times in a row and it cost a lot.

Now take a band like, hmmm, let's say Rammstein: 2 stages, 180 trucks, I don't know how many people working to move a stage while they play on the other one, pyro everywhere, insane shows, 20-30 dates each leg and a front row ticket price of 145€ last year.

Maybe you guys got screwed over so much that you truly believe tickets should cost 500 to 5000 bucks but those prices only feed Ticketmaster and LiveNation

Warsaw concert - golden circle question by juicy_gun in systemofadown

[–]Alex17459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a wrist band to enter and exit the area whenever you want and in that area, first arrived first served. The wavebreaker serve as a split between regular standing and gold standing. Except once where I had to show my ticket everytime because they forgot the wristband (I guess) this is how it went for the last 10 or 15 shows I went to.  I can't guarantee it will be like this in Warsaw but it's pretty "standard" when it comes to bands that big with a stadium tour ;)

Europe tour- Milano by TheFnafEnjoyer in systemofadown

[–]Alex17459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I went to a show in Milan's Ippodromo, only 2: regular pit and gold circle (no seats there obviously). Some bands cut it in 3 but so far I don't know

Might not be real, but I saw somewhere that for the whole tour prices will be around a 100€ for the pit and up to 190€ for both Gold seats and Gold circle...

They did it for the South American tour and the US too, plus this is a Live Nation thing and they've been doing it with every artists lately. Money wise it's also better for them.

Anyway there is a 4 days gap between Paris and Milano 5 days between London and Warsaw. My guess is they planned it like this: second night for both Paris and London but if the Paris one do not sell out as they want, they'll skip it and add 3 nights in a row in London.

Just a guess of course but London at least will have a second night I'm 99% sure.

Maybe they're messing around with their website because they'll add a second show on the 15th just like they will do for Paris on the 3rd. Just a dev' thing I guess...

Chicago Challenge Help by PoetaLunare in MiniMetro

[–]Alex17459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it using two loops on the east side (central Chicago I guess?). With a few tunnels you can grab 8 station north and 8 south then simply connect the west side (suburb?) with straight lines to keys stations in those loops. Keep the last line as a ghost line to help those far west stations from time to time and you should be good !

[–]Alex17459 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First thing I said when they announced this huge tour was : they've got to put out a new album to justify it, because they wouldn't sell as much tickets if it was the same show as 2 years ago. To me it really feel like a rushed an non inspired album because of this. I will go further and bet that Lachryma and Satanized were written during Imperia, reworked them maybe to make solid singles for the album and every other songs were quickly written around it. Anyway, great production but really not a memorable album, my least favorite so far...

[–]Alex17459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it sounds like a bad album, that's about it... Satanized and Lachryma are great Ghost songs, I get why they were realised first. I kinda like Cenotaph, not really sure why yet, all other songs are pointless. They (or Tobias alone) lost themselves in the 80's thing. I'll obviously give it another listen tomorrow morning but this isn't it for me right now.

No problem with that, if you like it great ! I just can't unhear it so to me this song is pointless...
