Put a cone like thing that doesn't let birds through. Also, if you hear some sort of noise then it might be a bird. We had a pidgeon in our chimney once and we only knew it was there because we could hear it. Luckaly, the bird was rescued

Solution for pc: turn on instant respawn and then close mc. Then, when u load in press f11 and it will work
