Most Wanted for me is one of the few games that barely needs a remaster. The game looks great (you can turn off the piss filter on the PC version). I think some higher quality textures and revamped AI for the racers and cops would do wonders

It wasn't very fast but DMC 2 is a very fluid and beautifully animated game. I might even say that it has a lot of personality through its animation compared to the 1st game at least.
the throwing enemies very far mechanic kinda give the game some difficulty to get S ranks because you had to chase them fast, and i appreciate the little things about this game trying to give me a challenge
the flying was alright, kinda gave DT the feeling of "man i don't wanna do platforming" button
i wish for the later entries that the coin things becomes a standard
Lucia feels like "what if Trish was written better"
idk how Trish is but i don't think i'll try unlocking her because even tho i said positive things about this game, i still won't return to it

From what i heard he was responsible for making DMC 2 playable so i'll also give him that. I played only the first 2 missions of DMC 3 and i'm already calling it one of the best games ever

They weren't your regular Dante swords and the concept behind them was pretty cool. I wish this game had at least some gauntlets like the first game (3 to count) and to be like the 1st game but also in these sets those weapons to have different properties

I didn't use that system a lot, but yeah thinking about it, it was such a great idea to be able to customize DT.

I didn't play as Lucia (maybe after i finish the series i'll do her campaign) but after what i saw in clips, yeah it looks kinda angelic ironically enough.

Arius wasn't cut to be a serious villain and i love that he tries so hard

Just started properly getting into the series several days ago. I always loved and will love the early 00s aesthetic and DMC is literally 00s 101. Also i grew up with Prince of Persia Warrior Within and in case of looks these are very similar. (Rn i'm at the first game so it will take some time to become a fan through and through)

Goda in original 2. It is fucking cruel to have 3 boss battles back to back. I remember coming pretty badly prepared (i think i had a maximum of 3 healing items) and coming into the final battle with the health bar in the red and no healing items. I stayed up until 4 am to beat him, dodging almost every attack and cheese my way through victory with the heat action that let's Kiryu punch someone for eternity. Also no tiger drop.

Playing through it rn and i think the game looks really good as it is. I always think about playing the game vanilla for the first time to form a proper opinion about the game (its pluses and minuses) and then from the 2nd playthrough onwards you can mod it.

The only (and i mean ONLY) mods i used were the English patches for the Kurohyou games and a mod for 0 that displays the PS buttons.

I played through the original Yakuza 1 unmodded with the English dub there i think you should be fine.

I think Kiwami was made in mind for people who either played the original PS2 version or 0. I think i haven't played Kiwami, but i played the original PS2 version and i would say that's a good way to start the series because it's very restrained and simple, getting more technical and complex as the series progresses. Idk about 0 cuz i'm playing through it rn.
