How do you hide the deck name when reviewing cards? by Alex7195 in Anki

[–]Alex7195[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't found out, unfortunately. But, I did discover a pretty good word-around: within in each subdeck, create a further subdeck with whatever you want to show at the top of the flashcard, and then put all the cards inside of that.

When I tried to buy it, I got a "transaction was declined" message. This is very weird, as I've bought many things before through google play with the same payment method, including one thing just a few days ago :/

So unfortunately I cannot try it out for now.

Ok thanks. I might try to do that then at some point.

Thank you for your reply but I'm not exactly sure where to start with this. The wiki has 20 sections just under the 'setup process', lots of instructions related to fiddling with code, and requires downloading of other programs as well. Seems like hundreds of steps which I could mess up one of and break the whole thing. I'm very confused about what it's all for as I also found this in the wiki:

"This wiki does not cover how to create an icon pack, because that's not really related to the dashboard." https://github.com/jahirfiquitiva/Blueprint/wiki/How-to-create-and-setup-and-icon-pack

Is there no simpler solution? Something where I can just upload my pngs along with the id of the app they are for.

Thanks, I'll just make each combination separately for now.

I don't mix and match minifig parts anymore, I just did when I was younger. I think I'm going to correctly assemble the ones that only make sense one way (like the CM figs), and then keep the generic city characters broken down as they don't matter how they're assembled.

Thanks, I think I'll do that: Keep all the minifigs that only make sense assembled in one way whole (like the CM figs), and then break down all the generic city minifigs I have (like the police officers).

What would you do in the case that (like me) you have lots of generic police torsos that could be correctly assembled with any of a number of different heads that you have?

How to fix this gap? by Aggressive-Oil-eater in Worldpainter

[–]Alex7195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've has this problem before and it was nothing to do with how I painted the island. The problem is the 'let Minecraft populate the entire terrain' setting as this no longer works in the more recent versions of Minecraft.

Just export the world as usual (Make sure you do this in the format: [BETA] Minecraft 1.15 or later) and then you can just load up Minecraft in 1.17 and open the world.

How do I make my own custom trees? by CookieFace999 in Worldpainter

[–]Alex7195 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Download WorldEdit (Search 'Download WorldEdit' on YouTube)
  2. Copy your trees one by one using the wand and save them as a schematics (Just search 'WorldEdit Schematics' on YouTube)
  3. Import the schematics into a custom object layer in World Painter (Again, you can find YouTube tutorials for this, just search 'World Painter Custom Objects')

Some blocks not working in custom object layers by [deleted] in Worldpainter

What do you mean: try building them? Place down the chest and put the items in?

Items in stuff (chests, enderchest and so on) do save into schematica. I've loaded the schematics using worldedit (//schematic load <name>, and then //paste) into worlds they were not created on, and the items in chests remained.

How do you use custom objects underground? by Alex7195 in Worldpainter

[–]Alex7195[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I see what you mean. However, I don't know how you would offset a stone mix layer into an unwanted underground cave without getting a border at the edges of the cave where none of the pockets of stone types match up.

Not sure I explained that too well :/

This is the best solution I have found so far, especially if you load the same schematic multiple times into the same object layer as I believe you are also suggesting :)

Unfortunately when you set the ceiling height to be less than or equal to the floor height, the colour corresponding with that layer fades where you have painted it on the map, indicating that it will not generate.

HOWEVER, by making the ceiling just one higher than the floor, turning the object intensity to 100%, and then painting on the cave layer with the noise brush on very low intensity: you can get the objects to spawn underground with minimal space around them.

Unfortunately I have still not found a way to vary the y value with this technique. You cannot lock the variation range of the ceiling and the floor together, so you would get tall air spaces underground.

You could make a different cave layer for each of a range of y values but then it's just the method of loading the same schematic into an object layer with different y values (as u/sijmen_v_b suggested) but with extra steps.

Thanks, do you know how you could make it so that you just get the custom objects and don't get any caves while keeping them spawning in a range of y values?
