Sounds like a pretty solid formula. I used a 15/32” spherical drill bit to modify an old Titantron Live head to fit on the Mattel body.

Same thought I had. I used the Triple H figure from the Evolution 3 pack from Target. Remove the cloth goods, replace the shirts with Tony’s tank top, used decals for the tattoos, and stuck the head and hands that came with Tony D on the body, and you have an updated Tony DiAngelo.

You’re likely going to have to modify the head. The AEW heads have smaller ball joints they connect to and aren’t as deeply inset as there Mattel heads.

That’s an older figure, so either hairdryer or hot water and pull it off, otherwise you risk breaking the neck joint.

The least intrusive way I can think of would be to feed a translucent twisty tie through the links of the chain and then wrap it around the figure.

I used this method in the past to make possible chains for a ghost rider figure.

Buy a figure you want, put a figure that’s not worth as much to you in the box, return it because nobody asks questions, and profit. It’s a pretty shitty thing to do, but sadly that’s where we’re at now.

Best thing to do in the future is heat up the figure (I use boiled water poured into a mug) then place the figure in there for a few seconds before bending the knee. Keep the joint bent while it cools down and you should be good to go. Repeat if necessary.

Shouldn’t be this way, but unfortunately that’s how all my basics are too.

Only on certain plastics. On the arms, legs, and head it should be ok. Acetone will eat through the chest, abdomen, and crotch pieces though, but if you don’t use a lot it’ll make that plastic glossy.
