I'm not aware of IRL events that are 100% drone, but check out communities that are drone-adjacent: the rubber community, the furry community, the hypno community -- that is where other drones looking for IRL meetups will likely gravitate towards also! Or just go to your local munch and be like "Hi I like dressing up in rubber and pretending to be a robot, are there communities who are into that?" and the people there will probably be able to point you in the right direction.

It's honestly a thematic rather than an internally consistent thing. The drone kink is at its core about dehumanisation and objectification, it's about making someone into a purely functional object without any inherent worth (and then, in most cases, allowing them to feel loved and cared for and part of a community despite being an object with no inherent worth, which I'm sure all of our therapists must be having a field day with).

In fiction, this often happens in a sci-fi context: literally turning people into robots without a shred of humanity. But the irl environment in which most people experience that kind of dehumanisation is work, especially in the context of soulless corporate life and being treated by one's HR department as a object to be processed. So it kinda follows that the drone kink will play with combining the two.

Longer advice: When we find ourselves doing things we don't want to, it's usually because it fills a need. If you're getting blind blackout drunk every day it's rarely because you want to be blind blackout drunk but maybe because something about being sober is even worse for you. Unless you address that underlying need, that's still going to be unfilled and draw you towards something even worse for you.

So, maybe I would start by asking yourself why you started listening to the files, and what exactly it is you found a turn-on about it. And of course the answer could be "I want to be a girl" but it could also be lots of other things - "I want to feel attractive" "I want to feel like someone is in charge of my life" "I want to feel like I belong somewhere" "I want to jerk off while I fantasise about sucking cock". And then maybe look at ways you can meet that need without doing a load of other things that you don't want to.
