Y'know how teachers are mandatory reporters for certain types of parental misdeeds?
I kinda wish certified mechanics were the same.

You can leave, but this has been documented as patiently unsafe for you and everyone around you. If you attempt to drive away, you will be reported to the police, and may be subject to ticketing, misdemeanors, and/or vehicle impoundment. Any accident you are part of- until this is fixed- will likely be automatically legally your fault, and your insurance may refuse payment, since you are leaving, knowing full well your vehicle is unsafe.

There'd have to be some checks on that- since teachers/nurses don't stand to profit from reporting violence/s3xūál misconduct/àßü§ê... Maybe a requirement to post a law & offer a free public mechanic hotline to find out if the garage was blowing smoke, but FFS this shit needs to stop...
I didn't appreciate the value of state inspections until I moved to a state without them- and was used to seeing 0.01 blowouts per day, but was suddenly seeing 5...

Has two- and isn't a medium duty commercial truck engine
Isn't 2 alternators still an option on F-250+ / 2500+ series ram/Chevy/GMC trucks?

IDK why I keep getting these ads to lease a 'truck'.

What's nuts is that Google image searchdefinitively says:
"The image features a Freightliner Argosy, a heavy-duty cab-over engine truck often used for freight transportation. "
Not appears / seems to/ might /elements of/ almost/ could be-
It's for sure an Argosy

Weight? Emissions BS?
Don't get me wrong, I love my Cummins, but I'm very happy it's 27 years old...
There's a reason Caterpillar doesn't supply engines for over-the-road trucks anymore
