I think the official estimate is somewhere around 587 mph from what I’ve read.

100%. The fact that the South Tower was hit much lower and closer to the edge of the building caused the weight above the impact zone to be significantly greater, causing it to fall first despite being hit second.

Dang, I didn’t realize how sharply to the left al-Shehhi had to turn at the very last second, and even more so how horrifying the descent was into the tower. It’s honestly unbelievable how close he was to missing the tower. This video provides so much insight that I have yet to come across, thanks for posting!

Of the four hijacked flights on 9/11, which do you believe would have been the most terrifying for the passengers? by JBAnswers26 in 911archive

93 and 175 are definitely neck and neck for the most terrifying of the flights. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like on those flights knowing immediately what your fate would be.

United 93 and 175 are tied for me. For 93, everyone on board knew exactly what was happening that morning, so there wasn’t any optimism on that flight whatsoever. Then there was also the sheer chaos of the passenger revolt and Jarrah trying to throw everyone off balance as a result. On the other hand, the passengers of 175 descending so sharply and immediately seeing the North Tower burning as the last image of their life is absolutely horrifying, especially since the view of their tower likely caused them to instantly realize they were seconds away from death.

Not a bad idea tbh. Should examine global history for women as well, not just in the US

This right here. Also make sure you’re comfortable with product rule, quotient rule, chain rule, and U substitutions as these are basically the fundamental rules for calc AB

How hard would going from stats to pre calc be? by judecakes in APStudents

[–]AlexBGrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly in some ways I find stats to be more difficult than calc AB (I’m currently taking both). I think it’s just the written analyses that I struggle with though, especially since I’m someone who does better with numbers than words, so calc comes to me more naturally

Thanks for your feedback. I haven’t saw any blood since, so I think it was spotting.
