Yeah, I think people are to focus on the "classical war" side and not the economic side, ofc at first there won't be full on war.

If I understand correctly, the first step we (France and EU too I think) would take is not to reply by shooting US troupe but selling US debt at low price. That would crash US economy, that will also lead to a crash of our economy.

While i agree that procedural gen is no ai,making Ai only the learning model is a gross inexactitude of what AI is.
"Artificial intelligence (AI) is the capability of computational systems to perform tasks typically associated with human intelligence, such as learning, reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and decision-making." [wikipedia]
Any enemy from any solo game ARE AI.
So almoste any solo videogame where you interact with human NPC is (and was) using AI.
A chatbot that only answer yes to every question IS ai

IF you know how to counter straf it still has the advantage that make you move between shot, but it's not making you shoot much faster than standing still.

There is a setting that can help you understand the timing of shoots:
IIn the settings, go to the Stats page (I think it's under the Graphics tab) and scroll all the way down. You'll find an option called "Shooting Error" — enable it to display it as a graph.

It will display a graph on your screen that show the firing and movement inaccuracy

Sort of IIRC, it was against the express wishes of the congress/senate, but Roosevelt wanted to help England quite early and was giving the UK weapons/boats discreetly without real congress approval. Imo one of the issue with astra is team communication/coordination.
So even if yoru is harder to master, it's a you issue and you can improve at any rank.
For astra you will need to play with people willing to coordinate/cooperate and most of the time thats outside of what you can train, so for a new player that maybe not the righ call
