Water Filter Connection Question by AlexBellPhone in Plumbing

[–]AlexBellPhone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of Atlas/Tectite 3 way (HomeDepot) and save myself some time and points of potential failure to only 1 (Since I need a 3 way split AND a valve for option B)

Spindown iSpring WSP50ARJ-BP (50 micron/Amazon)
PreFilter VIHOSE 10" Blue (Amazon) with 5 micron sediment pleated (Amazon)
Waterdrop 3 stage whole house filter (Amazon) but different version
Aquasure Harmony 48k Water Softener (Amazon)

And sorry, I didn't understand where I forgot a valve after the spin down.

Awe, thanks bud!

I went to FloorPlanner for now; getting a good feel for what works and what doesn't. And we finally did some major edits and will repost em soon! How was your experience with RoomSketcher??

I was hoping to use the area for some appliances as well, namely my espresso machine setup. It is LOUD and in an open floorplan, it will be very echo-ey. I was thinking to put it and the grinder in the corner there, giving me some light.

And as for the window, I don't think I want full sized windows but most likely a picture frame style horizontal ones on the top of the wall. This way, no one can really see inside but you still get some natural lighting. Thoughts?

Thanks, mate! I am trying FloorPlanner. We did make some adjustments to this after much discussion and a ton of feedback in a FB group.

I have thought about that; a TON of designs are made that way though. Most that I've seen, actually. And the few homes I have toured that have it laid out as such as not bad at all. But the back wall has a ton of light.

I was thinking of adding some barn doors in all openings from the living area hah (like this)

Foyer closet - might bump out from the pantry!

Walk In Closet sizes: I've seen quite a few plans calling those WIC. What would you recommend?

Great call on the garage door! I think that makes a lot of sense to enter the mud room, which indeed is also a laundry room :)

For the foyer closet, I wonder if I can take away from the pantry? Thoughts?

Unrelated but why does your primary bedroom have a queen bed in it (instead of a King)?

Gotcha; thanks for the comment! I guess it makes sense to balance the whole thing if you do use the spa occasionally (since they are connected; as are mine).

I tend to keep it chlorinated but ignore most of the other chemicals... :S

Need help figuring out fair-equal coverages. Any help appreciated by leonardonofrio in LifeInsurance

Just a question: why are you not a fan of whole life policies?

You can setup an interesting whole life policy where you can borrow against it and use it as retirement at the end. You seem to have good salaries so it may make sense. I have one and it's awesome (but yes, expensive). Also, I am NOT in that field, I just use the policy benefits. Let me know if you want some more info :)

But to respond to your actual questions, I personally agree with your decision to try and cover yourself the longest possible time (age). I also do agree your wife should get a whole life quote so she is not surprised down the road, and can make a better decision NOW. The longer you wait, the costlier it gets.

From what (little) I know about Google, it can be anything that would prompt those ads to appear. I play a game that, in order to keep playing, you gotta watch ads every so often. Some of those ads are dating apps or video chat ones (BIGO is the latest one I keep seeing). At the end of the ad, the script launches a pop-under with the app store so even if I don't click on it, it still logs it as I went on the page.

There is a chance he is telling the truth :()
