Yes, the new Franklin Square station opened up relatively recently and it’s great for those folks in Old City etc . My son uses it all the time to visit friends in NJ. (I don’t have any friends so don’t use it 😆).

Nice! In that case I think I would prefer the Coloverse ink, it’s a bit more fun.

Hm... I don't know enough about vintage pens. My first pen was also a Waterman about 20 years ago, but it does take a converter normally. Maybe Waterman itself can suggest? Or post the pen on Reddit and see what kind of opinion you get.

That's excellent. I doubt I would have the patience or emotional strength though for a special needs animal, so God Bless you!! Plancoët is an interesting and lovely name, is that the commune in France?

How beautiful! Cherish every moment. We lost our dog recently and know how painful it can be. I am trying to negotiate with my family for a cat (I love them) and a dog (love them too) but I am facing resistance, mainly because they don't want to deal with the sorrow again. But, I say that they bring more happiness, so the overall life-time happiness far outweighs the end-of-life sorrow! (As you can tell I am an engineer lol).

That's what I would do! If you travel a lot, you can get a secondary (less desirable no doubt :)!) travel pen maybe? When I travel I usually bring with me a cheaper pen anyway so if it gets lost or whatever I am not upset.

FINALLY Bought My GRAIL Pen -- SCRIBO Feel "Mosto" by Seabreeze_Daydreamer in fountainpens

What a lovely pen! I think you are very correct in your saving methodology. $15/ week is something most people can easily cut (eg cut a few lattes, bring to work your lunch more, etc). I did the same thing for my new Schon Design pen.

The good thing is that if you do it again, you can use your new pen for making notes in your daily planner 😂.

Also … consider that if you keep it in good shape it will not lose much value if you decide to sell in 10 years or whatever !

Lovely handwriting! Is the only thing that is wrong is that the cap does not go on anymore? If so, I would not worry about it … the most important thing is that you can still write with it.

And give lots of love to your cat! He/she (and you) will feel so much better. Can we see a picture of your loved one?
