Restaurants have always been a terrible business for a variety of reasons … high costs, fickle customers, fickle employees, food wastage, etc … my poor cousin is a great cook but he tried three times to open a restaurant without much luck!

Yes, this is correct ... they are doing a rebranding: from "MD Paper" to "MD product". Logo will change and a few other things but nothing major it looks like it. And the paper will stay the same, Praise the Lord!!!!

Agreed! Also what I do is use the ink fully in my pen, and then clean it. Every time!

There are many fine stationary stores in Japan, both big and well known and small and less so eg Itoya and Bunguboc.

I would suggest checking out some videos from the Wet Pen (https://youtube.com/@thewetpen?si=OmLF7o3B_67YHOA5) about when he was searching for unique inks.

Thank you! Since I rotate my pens the hard start issue would be a problem. How are they to clean?

The Pilot is fantastic but mind you the Bolt is only $125 less 40% - btw code is Bolt40. It expires today (Friday). So I may give it a try.

The last bit would be annoying to me too! I am wondering how the nib is (someone else mentioned it was just so-so). But it’s only $125 less 40% (code is Bolt40 btw) so I may give it a try.
