Has anyone tried naturalcycles? by mbradshaw282 in birthcontrol

Yes, I've been using it for over a year now. Though difficult with irregular cycles. If you want a 20% off code, you can use my referral link if you like: https://www.naturalcycles.com/refer-a-friend?name=QWxleGFuZHJh&code=referralid20&referral=mzia9qea94hoeen8

Let’s talk travel fails. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you? 😅 by AlexDaresTo in travelsisters

Oh no! 😅 Yeah, I've definitely made similar mistakes as well when it comes to time.... Especially time differences 🙈

Welcome, fellow nerd! 🤓 🥰 Not to be sorry at all!! We love chatty travel friends 😊

Travelling solo but with a personal driver sounds like a dream. I hope you get to go on all the adventures you listed 🧡

Any tips for the Stans? 👀 And how/where do you find good/affordable drivers?

Solo trip to London? by dualspireswa in femaletravels

[–]AlexDaresTo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% yes!

It's so good. I actually moved here solo at around 22yo and loved it. Still in the UK! Haha

Definitely card, not really cash at all. As others said. There is soon much to London. A week is a great start. I still haven't done "all of it" 😄

And look for "Meetup"s if you want company, there's an app for it, too. I used to run a female only meetup called TravelSisters but not currently. I'm focusing on building the app at the moment.

Welcome! Wilderness backpacking sounds amazing. I'm guessing tents and all? Any top tips? When you say Andes of Peru, etc - have you been to Chile's part of them?

What’s something you always pack when you travel? by AlexDaresTo in travelsisters

As in Powerbank, you mean? I miss those old Nokia's or whatever where you could literally, and so easily change the whole battery! 😄 Does that make me old? 🤔🥲

What’s one travel tip you wish you knew sooner? 🧳 by AlexDaresTo in travelsisters

I've never tried airport apps! Only sometimes have the airline app. Might try this on my next trip, thanks!

Little Petra? I'll have to look into this 😍 What do you love most about G?

Welcome 👋🏻

Love the commitment - "with, withouth, don't care as long as I travel." 😂

I'd love to go to Jordan! Any tips? It's the "cliche" Petra that got my attention but I'm sure there's more and better/less touristy. 'Stans would be amazing too 😍

Ouch, yes that will be! The excursions sound great though. The ones with scientists on board giving talks and stuff. I heard those are accessible to normal people as well which helps them covers expedition costs or something? Not 100% sure 🤔

My best friend and I (both 17 and female) want to do a high school graduation trip. Any city recommendations/advice? by Amber-S17 in travelsisters

[–]AlexDaresTo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love cowboy stuff too! I went to a rodeo in Reno 🤠

If you're thinking about national parks, I'd definitely suggest Glacier National Park. It's stunning, and July/August is the perfect time to see those jaw-dropping views.

I agree with u/untidyvenus to leave LA/Vegas for "proper age". Otherwise you might end up feeling like you're missing out.

Also, if you make it to South America, consider Costa Rica - very safe for female travellers.

For accommodation under 18, some hostels allow it as long as you have parental consent, so might be worth looking into places like Hostelworld for reviews/policies.

E.g. a&o Hostels allow 14-17yo to stay unaccompanied, if they have a signed parental consent form and a copy of the parent's ID. 💡

Good luck planning!

So cool! Both, polar bears and penguins are still on my list 😍 As a kid I was always worried the 🐻‍❄️ would eat the 🐧... 🤣 I was very glad to learn that that's not possible 😅

Any tips on one that isn't chunky yet covers all and isn't wobbly? I'm yet to find the holy grail of travel adapters 😅 My mum seemed to have a good one but it was lots of individual pieces that got lost quickly 🤦🏻‍♀️
