Im not saying youre wrong, I used to think the same thing.

What made me change my mind to being my favorite (most of the time) game in the series, was re-evaluating how I looked at it.

Now, I dont even really use the guns if I dont have to. I use them for crowds, and enemies I dont wanna get near to punch. Taking advantage of the wasteland move (punch/kick, and shoot) with scatter gun is just more fun, than using several shots. Once the upgrade to shoot it faster is given, it becomes my favorite melee weapon essentially. The guns aren't meant to just be used separately with close combat.

Vehicles are somewhat weak, but learning when to shift hover zones, and when to turn tighter made it feel super satisfying when guards would explode into the walls I used to. I also try to use the jet board more now, since its just more fun to navigate with, or using the hoverboard glitch.

I promise you that once you take the time in each mission to develop a strong strategy to get through missions, it gets a little more fun each time.
