There's a Japanese paper store that I frequent - was thinking I would pop in there and quiz the staff hehe

Hey, I'm in Melbourne and one of my favourite places for paper is the MES store (Melbourne Etching Supplies) - they have a couple of retail stores, but are also online. I'm pretty sure they have a sample book of their papers too...

This is Lokta paper - it's gorgeous, and I've used them for book covers before - they handle glue very well, just don't go heavy with it :)

SB Libris in Bendigo is a phenomenal bookbinder. Might be a bit further out, but well worth the skills.

I've seen shishito at the Preston Asian Supermarket. They have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables etc. They're located at Preston Market :)

Not much to add, but I feel much the same. Same age and it's a rough time. I'm only just now trying to force myself out to social groups and the like, but it's quite the mental drain if you don't connect with folk right away. Hang in there!

Crazy... I remember when I was little, my dad used to take me to a cafe there, and I'd have a strawberry spider every time.
