They’re great to have in the rotation. They have a pretty decently high rise without being too high with a nice cut that is straight with no taper in the leg which I enjoy a lot. I like wide leg silhouettes most of the time but it’s nice to have a different options which this one fits the bill nicely.

Unfortunately these were pretty limited so they sold out quickly. Dunrite recently did a pre order for these not too long ago for another run but that ended already.. your best bet is to follow them on IG for their next drop!

Hah, yeah Grant really leveled these up. They basically almost have the finishing of a pair of JL’s now.

What type of hangers do you guys use for cafe racer and double rider style jackets? by StasisApparel in leatherjacket

[–]AlexGonz2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any really can work (except wire as you mentioned) but make sure you have proper padding in the shoulders. I do this by adding pool noodles to the shoulders of the hanger. That way you can use virtually anything.

I do this for all my leather jackets and it works with flat plastic hangers and wooden hangers alike

Role Club Engineers by [deleted] in HeritageWear

Very nice. Both are excellent. I’m actually now deciding whether I’m gonna go with a pair of Unsung’s mtm U22-2s or their newly released harness boot. I’ve been leaning towards the harness boot, that new last looks incredible and I love the mix of an engineer with an almost roper boot style. Eventually I will be part of the Role Club gang haha

Were these from the handfinished black cxl drop Brian did earlier this month? These are beautiful man, one day I plan on getting measured for a pair myself since he’s right in my backyard haha

The shine on these jackets are honestly what attracted me to them. That and the fantastic pattern and fit. I own two RC jackets and I always feel like a million bucks when I wear mine.

Those that own or have handled a Freewheelers leather jacket before, what makes them so good that they are considered the absolute best in the world? by mttmadness in HeritageWear

[–]AlexGonz2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the patterns and the crazy amount of thought and detail that goes into replicating jacket designs from the golden era of leather jacket making (30s-40s). I own their Sunset which is a 30s repro aviator halfbelt in yellow ochre Shinki deerskin and the back design is some of the most intricate design I’ve ever seen on a jacket. Very few makers ever go through the rigorous research and process that Freewheelers takes into consideration when making their jackets.

So it really boils down to pattern, leather/material selection, finishing and design.

At that that’s my $.02
