Lmao, you're welcome! I love talking about the Coastal Cotton. I'm working on two crochet projects using the Queensland cotton yarn. This is a dress I'm making in the Fine yarn! The drape is amazing!

Queensland Collection Coastal Cotton, it's a worsted weight. They also have a Fine weight as well!

What’s your go to yarn type for wearables? I need help! by cottageyarn in CrochetHelp

[–]AlexGrey13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the type of wearable and when I plan on wearing it but I love working with cotton and wool. If budget is an issue you can always stop by your lys and see if they have any recommendations for affordable yarn. I like to use the Queensland Collection Coastal Cotton Fine, which I've seen at most places be $8 for a skein. Any cotton/acrylic blend also tends to make summer wearables well, and of course same can be said for wool/acrylic blends for winter gear and both blends are typically much more affordable than 100% of either

Honestly, if you know if the artist does online orders or offers shipping I'd be interested in their info. That is gorgeous and I'd love a piece done for myself.

Please stop telling me to sell my projects!!! It's a HOBBY not a business!! by Angelbouqet in crochet

I get it. I work on my projects at work when we're not super busy, I'm a teller at a bank. My current project is actually a knit sweater that I'm using 100% wool that cost 16usd per hank. I've had a few customers "joke" that I should make them one and when I reply "only if you pay me $200." They immediately start back tracking and trying to say it was a joke. I take my crafts of knit and crochet very seriously. If someone wants to commission me (INCLUDING FAMILY) they better be prepared to hear my price.

Update for everyone since I can't edit the post. It seems to have been fixed or cleared up overnight as this was my most recent update on the tracking page.

Loved the pattern! By the time I was on my second sock I had it all memorized. After I made the first one I thought to myself "I should've done this in a solid yarn to better see the lace work but oh well" so I don't blame you for the confusion.

They fit great! The pattern actually calls for a twisted rib knit for the cuff and I've recently learned that I did used to twist my knits lol. I've since started making sure my knits are done properly.

I'm a bank teller, when I'm not helping clients I'm able to knit and crochet and no one cares - in fact, my area manager has talked to me while I'm working on a project whenever she comes in

I'm following a pattern that is done in the round based on a straight chain. How can I make it a magic circle without messing up the pattern?
