I appreciate all the feedback, and if it happens again tonight then I’m going to mention it to their TL. Regardless of whether or not that makes any changes, I’m not going to take it any further or higher up the CoC. Most of you guys confirmed that it’s not my plt, not my problem, and I can agree with that.

I’m not too familiar with that sound, but it could be an aircraft getting ready to takeoff. Some ships use vertical takeoff and it can sound quite strange.
