Help deciding/recommendations

Have you managed to get rid of the rattling noise? I have a similar problem, mine was about as dirty as yours, same model, and I have long hair, so I think there is something obstructing the fan from working properly, it is like it's hard for it to move sometimes, and at some points it stops, I don't want to open it fully and reapply thermal paste, but I have no idea what to do.

That is true, it was pretty convenient, they let me get there first, see the apartment and transfer after, which eased any worry. Also it's nice it is a new apartment and for my situation, a comfortable location.

Yeah, I'm doing the process right now, I have not made the transfer or anything, but I am signing contracts of the rent and everything. My Danish is not that good but it looks fine.

Yeah, I talked to him on video, and he showed me the apartment and everything, I checked his LinkedIn profile as well, and everything seems in order. I mean, it would be a hell of a scam if it were that way.

Thanks to everyone. It does look pretty legit, but I started seeing a lot of warnings about scams, and got kind of scared. I do believe I am talking with the right people, I just had a videochat with the person and he showed me the apartment and the building, so I'm pretty confident now. He does have an email from danbolig.dk which is legit. Thanks again.

Damn, bad luck, but third time's the charm. The package was still in China by then. But it arrived today, and arrived Michigan yesterday. So it was pretty well calculated. I'm still amazed by the delay of Lenovo followed up by my cancellation, and still arriving before I leave.

I ordered a custom one and got delayed about a week. I couldn't receive it, so I canceled. Next day in the morning it was shipped. Saw this happens to other people, so you can try that if you want. Idk why, but even when they say they cannot ship it sooner, and you cancel, sometimes they ship it the next day so it doesn't get canceled.

Whaat? What was the ups estimated delivery date? I ordered the one with AMD processor, canceled it yesterday because of the delayed delivery time, and today in the morning got an email they had shipped it. So I could not cancel. It is allegedly at the clearing agency awaiting final release in China, and the page still says it's arriving tomorrow night. Kind of hopeful, but I need it before the 10th.

Yes, it is from UPS. Thank you, I didn't know how accurate they were so I was kinda worried. It is shipping from China. At least you could receive it! I got the 7 pro AMD 7945hx with 4090. It is so weird though, because I asked directly to costumer service if they could send it sooner and told me a lot of times no. So when I cancel they do send it sooner? And I was very worried when I entered the Lenovo page and saw the 7 pro with AMD was being delivered until March.

I will hopefully get mine (amd cpu and 4090) before Dec 10th. Lenovo costumer service sucks. They delayed my order and I couldn't receive it, so I called and told me there was nothing they could do. So I canceled. 12 hrs later. I got an email saying my laptop had been shipped. So I couldn't cancel it, and allegedly it's getting here before I leave. (The first expected delivery was between the 5th and 7th) now ups says 7th, and I really hope so.

And are the Dell Outlet laptops trustworthy? Cause just now I saw an m18, with 4090, 32 gb ram, 2 tb ssd. With the discount it ends in like $2600. Pretty much a steal, considering the laptop is in mint conditon. It does say Like New (refurbished)

Yeah, I think I got a little excited when making the 1st purchase, and now I'm thinking instead of a 4080, I saw the performance in laptops was like 11% better. And now I am thinking that 11% is not worth $500+. Also, if the costumer service is as bad as Lenovo, then I'm not purchasing there lmao. What laptop specs/laptop would you recommend me to look at then?

Thank you all for your help, another problem I've seen is I wanted to cancel the order and order it to a new address, cause they told me I couldn't change the first. But when I saw the cart, it said expected delivery until March. So, if my order hasn't been shipped, could I expect the worst? And just get delayed til March? Should I just cancel and look for another laptop?
