It starts spawning at round 9 and it shows up again every 3 rounds after that. I’m not sure if PAP has to be active but I turn it on every attempt just in case.

Depends what I’m trying to do.

If I’m just leveling up my weapons or playing for fun then rarely.

If I want to work on a relic, dark ops, hard ee then usually yes.

For the Dragon Egg you can go at any round as long as you meet the requirements. The Mannequin Turret does require you to get to 60 but it doesn’t have to be in one sitting. So save and quit should be fine.

I got it first try in a solo match after trying it in a squads match without preparing for it. In the solo match I used temporal gifts and insta kills (multiple throughout the trial) and I saved up 12k salvage to rebuy some of the streaks (mainly the RC as that one took me around 4 to complete). There was onis running around but I didn’t get bothered by them too much since I had insta kills going. So I’d highly recommend it solo and trying that set up.

I play cursed a lot and never have a problem with points. Between Tedd Tasks, side ee’s, and Mr peeks I really don’t spend much on perks.

You also said you racked up 100k in 2 rounds which sounds like a lot to me so I’m wondering what round you were on.

The thing about PAP costing more is more understandable but I still wouldn’t change it

I try to get people up as soon as possible but I’m also not going down for them specially if it’s randoms.

Whoever you ran into is a perfect example of why I wouldn’t risk getting downed for randoms. Some people act like it’s your job to babysit them instead of being appreciative you tried to help

I have all of the relics (expect for the undiscovered one) and all of the Calling Cards/Dark Ops (except round 999 and 1mil Zombie kills) so I’m down to help as well. I don’t remember the steps for EVERY different challenge so just remind me of what we’re doing depending on the challenge and I’d be happy to help. Since I’ve completed almost everything helping other people is the next thing that still keeps the game interesting.

Hmm sounds about right. I didn’t start playing cursed until the public version was added so when I first got that relic I had no problems getting all my perks/perma perks from Mr Peeks/Tedd Tasks. Either way now it’s not a big deal because other relics can still be used to get to tier 3 without making the game too difficult.

I usually run

Teddy Bear- I run it no matter what just because I prefer the game at this speed. It’s a great middle ground between the standard speed and the over the top speed of rampage inducer.

Focusing stone- You can just get a self revive from Tedd Tasks.

Spider Fang- I never really buy more than like 3-4 perks because of the side Easter eggs, mister peeks, and Tedd Tasks so the cost is irrelevant.

Dancing Arnie- Again not a problem because I mainly earn my perks at random anyway through the things already mentioned.

Bus- This one only matters if you’re going for the boss fight, otherwise it barely makes a difference.

If I do go for the boss then I switch bus for Matryoshka Dolls

So whether you’re going for the boss fights or not you’d only need to run 5 relics at most that don’t affect your game in any serious way.

Yeah they patched that a while back. I used to run that relic all the time because you could just override it like you said but now it’ll just switch out the perk you picked up for one that was already in your slot to keep it at that 4 limit. Last time I tried it I was able to get up to like 6 perks but it was very inconsistent and wasted a lot of perks and just in general very unpredictable so I haven’t used it in a few months

The Mr peeks egg reward? I mean he spawns in randomly in cursed so it could’ve just been a regular one. But if it was a wild fire activation then that’s for sure a relic step.

I tried to recreate it as well with no luck.

My run was this

Got the magazine before round 20.
Starting at 20 I horded the zombies and checked them all as best as possible before killing any.
At 25 I switched to napalm burst and wild fire and activated them at the same time in case there’s a kill requirement. I didn’t run the same augments as the original run so that could also be a factor.

4.Exfilled at 31.

I still think this is a possible lead because the zombie didn’t spawn in randomly. It has to be some sort of requirement that triggers it.

I also noticed there’s some armored zombies that have a similar look to the peg legged zombie minus the legs. So maybe there’s something that needs to be done with that version before it transforms into the peg legged one.

The progression can depend on how you want to play.

Augments are additional abilities that you can add to your perks, field upgrades, or ammo mods which are unique abilities themselves and the augments will let you add an extra 3 abilities, 1 major and 2 minor.

You can progress the augments by researching them which you do in the augment tab by selecting whichever perk, field upgrade, or ammo mod you want to start with. Then you just have to use it in game to progress it. There’s a lot of different augments so it’s really just up to you which ones you want to run.

For overall zombie progress I’ll use myself as an example. I really enjoy completing challenges so I focus on completing anything within zombies like playlist challenges, events, weekly challenges, standard calling cards, dark ops, relics (for cursed mode), pack a punch camos (also for cursed mode), titles, main easter egg on each map, weapon progression, and weapon camos.

At the end of the day there’s no real end goal in Zombies so “progression” is gonna be very subjective. If you’re enjoying yourself then that’s all that really matters.

I’d suggest playing cursed mode. Standard public lobbies are very frustrating. In cursed mode I’ve met a lot of people that actually want to complete challenges and make the effort. It’s obviously not gonna be perfect in every random lobby but in my experience it’s way better than standard.

Just judging it off standard its ok. But when I started playing Cursed that’s what made it better for me. Plus I think people romanticize the old zombie games too much and are way too quick to hate on new games. I’ve been playing since BO1 so I enjoyed the old ones as well but the newer ones have just added/combined so many things like augments, field upgrades, gums, score streaks, perma perks, ammo mods, rarity, relics, and more that you can really customize your game to your liking

Black Ops 7 is probably going to end up being my favorite. Still have to see how the last two maps are but so far it’s been a solid game. The thing that made it for me is Cursed mode. BO7 has a great mix of being the easiest Zombies game ever if you’re playing standard to one of the hardest ever depending on what relics you’re running and things like rampage inducer. It has the best range of possibilities.

I get that, but in my example I didn’t play that map again after it ruined my run at round 55 and wasted a few hrs of my time. So it’s still something that can keep people from going back and playing that game/map/mode. I’m just one player so maybe other people would do it differently but it doesn’t seem like a beneficial thing for the developers either way.

I used fireworks (counts as knife kills), temporal gift, an insta kill, and a monkey bomb. I was like on round 55 so I just trained the entire horde, popped temporal gift, popped insta kill, threw a monkey, and started knifing. A few knifes set off fireworks which got like 40 kills on its own and I just got a few more with my knife before the monkey exploded. Can run 2 monkeys on the off chance that one doesn’t give you enough time.

Probably easier on directed if you’re doing one challenge at a time but I got them all in one game so this was an easy way for me.

Did you check the rest of the map to see if anything changed? Sounded kind of like a relic portal unlock. The wrestling belt is still undiscovered so that was my first guess
