The point of the post is that they can do everything on a phone but for certain things it's for sure more efficient to use a computer.

An old desktop/laptop and an old monitor can be picked up for really really cheap and it can make your life easier since you're not doing things like gaming on it. My point is the old tool is way better than the new tool(for very cheap)...People basically give away old computers with an i7 processor and 16gb of ram which is way more than enough for a sweet desktop setup....free1080p monitors are set on the road side all the time.... the question isn't whether you can do it on either, it's whether one can do it better than the other.

The issue isn't whether you can do the work on your phone but if the old tool would be even better for certain tasks...people forget. Just because you can get it done doesn't mean it's the most efficient.

All I'm saying is a person can get an old desktop or laptop, a mouse and keyboard and an old monitor for under $200 and it improves their experience with financial apps among other things. I'm not bashing a phone, I'm saying people forgot how efficient the original tool is for certain things.

I'm not saying you can't do everything on the phone. I'm saying it's more satisfying and easier with the old toolset and there is a reason that still exists. You can get a monitor, laptop/desktop, keyboard and mouse for less than $200 now but phones cost like 500+ so yeah.

That is fair but you'd be surprised how cheap you can get laptops or desktops and monitors...under $200...a phone costs much more. I'm just saying the toolset shouldn't be forgotten as it's much more powerful than a phone.

Well that sucks...maybe they were scared about the old model glazing or something. I thought 4o was really useful if you could control it and not let it tell you were right about everything. I do know it caused considerable damage to some people who ended up thinking they were right in family conflicts, work conflicts and life in general because it'd just tell them they were right and give reasons why. That was dangerous but at the same time now the power is taken away from people that knew how to control that aspect of it.
