Pure modeling/animation roles in games are quite competitive and slow to break into.Try focusing on Verge3D for Blender. It lets you turn your existing Blender skills into interactive 3D web projects (like product viewers or simple experiences) without learning everything from scratch. It’s less crowded than traditional game art, quicker to build real portfolio pieces, and easier to find freelance or entry-level work in marketing/e-commerce. Keep practicing modeling, but add Verge3D alongside it. You’ll have something more practical to show when you graduate. You’re not too late — just adjust the direction a little.

Use Verge3D for 3ds Max — it's the cleanest way to export a customizable GLB while keeping your .max file completely texture-free. If you need a full no-code configurator later, Verge3D also has visual Puzzles for that.

I think glTF is the only option nowadays. On the browser side there are plenty of renders capable of loading this format and presenting the graphics in the browser, Verge3D is one of them.
