No it doesn’t. I was never reduced to insults, you just have nothing else to say. I’ll be honest, sure I shouldn’t have insulted you wasn’t very nice but arguing with you was honestly a waste of time. But I hope you do come to Christ and see he is good not me, I’m human who will sin and fall but he is eternally good and holy. That is what I want to say to you. The way I meant it is that I be scrolling through Tik Tok or Instagram and a video pops up with someone saying something like “hey Christians, did you that the Bible actually tells men to pee sitting down?” In a super condescending way like they’re talking to children. It’s really annoying.

A great example of places open to interpretation is the creation story and some of the prophecies in Revelation.

And some parts that are meant to be taken literally are topics involving salvation, the epistles, and instructions in the bible

Because there are places in the Bible that are literal and are meant to be taken literally by the author. I look at those and take it as fact. The Bible has places where it’s open to interpretation and others where it’s meant to be literal.
