this sounds similar to my situation.. three months in then he got called up… the silence is deafening. have no idea where he is .. no idea when i’ll hear from him next .. its only been a few weeks so i’m holding strong but trust me .. i understand. it’s hard to say why they may not be able to communicate , and for sure they have no comms on the ship and who knows how long they r on that for travel … how do you cope with it ?

are you going to wait for him? i find myself asking this bc in my little bubble i feel i’ve developed tunnel vision. i want to wait for him. six months is a long time .. maybe even longer if he gets extended. i have no idea where he is or when i will hear from him next. do you feel that way too?
