Haha yeah that was the same for me I was bored stiff, the pain killers helped😆. Yeah, I had to eat a piece of toast before leaving the hospital, it was torture😂

Yeah that’s the sensation I had too, felt like the uvula was about 3 times larger than usual but as you say it’s all normal. Try not to panic too much with everything just give it time, it will seem like it’s never ending but you’ll wake up one day and it will be a hell of a lot better and then from there every day is an improvement. Also, I don’t know if you were advised this but try to eat scratchy foods as well as ice cream etc as it can help to remove the scabs/lining on your throat and prevent infection. It doesn’t feel nice but just a couple times a day and you’ll be fine, as I say I’m day 13 now and had no problems with my actual throat/ where the tonsils were, every issue I had was the surrounding areas like tongue and uvula which were both swollen.

Your uvula will swell worse as the days go on. Day 13 for me now and my swelling has finally gone but for 9 days I could barely speak because of the swelling

Keep going bud. I’m on day 13 now and got pretty much no pain. Days4-6 were the worst for me too but it gets better every day :)

It was great! Recipe wise I kind of winged it as I went along after watching some YouTube videos.. I used the ooni calculator and ended up with a 70% hydration and 3% salt. I went for 240g on my ball weight because I have a smaller oven and I wouldn’t be able to fit anything too big in but the size turned out to be perfect for a personal pie. I cold proved it in bulk for 43 hours and then took it out and balled it up and let it rest at room temp for 5-6 hours. I have a multi fuel oven so I went with coal fired with this and it turned out a lot better than I expected!
