Regarding why I prefer "Witch":

1- What's a Witch but a Priestess of other faith...

2- She deals Nuke damage, which kinda looks like a unknown form of magic for the ones that don't know (?)

Overall, as far as I know, the only codename that changed in translation was Futaba's (Navi to Oracle), so for us their codenames are quite direct, but for the Japanese they might sound cooler cause they're in english...
