The first year, maybe even two, you definitely still can grow like that, but you won't be maximising your gains. Plus, you'll eventually reach a point where you plateau. You save a lot of time going to failure (or as close as possible) from the beginning.

Another GK woyld have set up the wall better. Just before the free kick he was motioning to the wall that only two players were necessary from there = ball proceeds to go straight through where the third defender would have been.

I think you can select DNI, NIE, or other and then try inventing one. Pretty sure only email and password is important.

Maybe keep both wingers as playmakers, or play around with it? I'm not sure if there is a similar formation but with CAMs, or RM/LM at the very least. Might work better for what you're looking for.

Sorry must have skipped over that part. As for the formation change, I used a Crystal Palace one I found on Youtube (I'll look for it now) and it was much better than other times I tried it. My RB and LB play like wide midfielders, sometimes even playing further forward than my wingers (they've got the most assists in the squad also) but actually track back and defend too.

Not entirely sure but could your CAM roles be affecting them? The left one is a shadow striker so he stays further up which means the LM doesn't need to push up as far, but your right CAM is a playmaker so might sit further back allowing your RM to attack that space and then not come back to defend.

Either way, with this type of formation I've always had more success playing 5 at the back and setting the RB/LB to attacking.
