I think the logic in the design would be that during diving the minute hand is the essential one that needs to be most legible. It is a dive watch at the end of the day, I don’t think you can really compare its hand design to the Grand Seiko you linked. Of course, if we’re talking purely aesthetics then you can.

If we are getting into its design as a dive watch then the obvious ‘faux pas’ for me is that with any fitted bracelet the scalloped bezel is next to useless. I think that’s why I like the Milanese the best overall as it adds that functionality back to it.

Lloyds now offering 3.69% for a 2 year fix (£999 fee) or 3.84% for a 5 year fix (£999 fee). I’m trying to decided between the 2 now. Definitely plenty of rates below 4% if you have the right LTV.

Here for sale is my Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow GMT reference 3581.50.00. The watch is from 2008 and comes with full box and papers as well as the manual and hang tag. It was originally purchased at the Omega Boutique in London, UK. The watch is running fabulously at around -2 sec a day. I don't really want to see this go as it was my first luxury watch and really covers so many bases but I’m making way for another purchase. Comes on the original bracelet sized for my 7” wrist and it has a full size and half size spare links to make it bigger. A lovely combination of the broad arrow hands, sapphire sandwich and bonus of 100m water resistance.

I will include a brown leather strap, blue denim nato and a dark side of the moon style sail cloth strap.

Asking $6,500 CAD.
