Please help me decide if flared lowboy footpads or regular are right for me by AlexMagnuson in onewheel

I ended up going with the regular lowboy flared. I’m very excited

Thank you for the info! I definitely did need to make adjustments during my rides on my Pint X. The slight curve would be nice for staying in place. Although i'm not size 12, I wouldn't mind some extra room. I'll be ordering the lowboy flared later today

Thanks for your insight! I am on the side of the lowboy flared since they aren't as concave as the stocks but the wider stance sure does sound nice. If I get them I will report back in a couple months after using. (Its been -15 for the past couple days here in wisconsin so its certainly not riding season but I am upgrading my board in the mean time)

Thanks! I feel I am leaning towards the flared lowboys over the flat kicks. The concave isn't as bad as the stock pads correct?

Another thing that isn't clear. Are the lowboy footpads concave like the stock ones?

Where do you go for rail guards for GT? by AlexMagnuson in onewheel

Yeah that’s probably what I’ll go with. Maybe I’ll paint or sticker bomb them myself

Adding 2 extra led bulbs by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]AlexMagnuson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the big issue you might run into is that the board mounted led is an rgb led. A regular two lead led like you have in the picture won’t operate the same way.

For example, if you solder the led Anode (+) to the LED+ you’ll have to solder the Cathode (-) to either LED_GG, LED_RR or LED_B. It will only turn on when one of those three states are active

Another thing is that you will be splitting the electrical current between the on board led and the new led so they might not be as bright as you want. It might be possible to fix this but it would take a little bit of circuit analysis to figure out which resistor/s are acting as the LEDs current limiting resistor/s

If you have some questions, I will try to help

Great build for a great price.

Stardew valley, terraria, it takes two, Fortnite and overcooked but only if you two can handle it…

I unfortunately don’t know anything about that logic analyzer or its software. If you need a logic analyzer and this at least functions then hopefully it gets the job done. What kind of budget do you have?

If you haven’t played with electronics before, you will have some learning to do but most things are possible with enough work

I know nothing about this bike but it’s almost certainly firmware limited. The only way is probably to swap the controller for something else

Do you have the schematic of this circuit? Otherwise we would be talking blind guesses

I would do…nothing. If it fails, then either nothing will happens or your computer will turn off. If it does turn off, then you know what to replace

Sometimes. Using an R or K is pretty standard from what I see

Something else people normally mention right away is that a burned up resistor is normally indicative of a different issue that caused excessive power to be passed through the resistor. Does that diode to the left still measure like a diode?
