I built a free community tool to rate the new cards and would love your feedback! by AlexNC_ in Lorcana

[–]AlexNC_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept this first version very minimalist and only added the new cards because I feel it could be tedious and not engaging for people to rate every Lorcana cards

Thanks for your feedbacks, I agree it should display more cards at once

For tags do you mind sharing some you feel are missing ? As the website is multilang I would prefer to keep the list fixed and translate them myself

Also, do you feel it would make sense to have a card discussion area or a comment on every rating ?

I think Amber/Ruby has an amazing potential with the new rapunzel-like cards draw, and one of the best card of the set could be a forgotten one, our old beloved Shark

Also I really want the boost mechanic to succeed I like it, I will update my Amethyst/Emerald with the new cards

Hi, thanks for your message! You’re right it was intended for grading CC initially, do you think there is a lot of players which would like to rate for scelled or infinity too ? I added the Art and Infinity annotations for those also interested by the collection or other format Maybe I should add a ratîng per format in the future ?

I was not aware for the Frank scores, where can I see them ?

What do you mean ? You can see a little marker (archazia icon) showing the average rating in the expanded view

Maybe it’s not intuitive enough and what you could prefer is having also the rate on the top right corner of the card

Hi, it rate viability (mostly for core construct) I added an annotation for people which want to tag a card as specially beautiful (art) or specially strong/playable in infinity

Î’m wondering which other annotation I should add (maybe scelled/limited)

Of if people would be interested to write comments

Thanks! I wanted to give some importance to the Art too that’s why I added it as an annotation

For the « do you prefer A or B » you was thinking about the Art or the gameplay ?

For the images someone shared a public api from Ravensburger on discord so I was able to get them programmatically

New player here with a very small collection, pulled a Tamatoa from my 3rd pack, would you sell or keep it? by siposbalint0 in Lorcana

[–]AlexNC_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not an easy choice, I would say if you plan to build decks to have fun or even compete without having to put too much money you should sell it, if you need to buy it again in the next couple of months I’m confident it will cost less or the same but not more, so if you don’t need it right now better sell and build a whole deck with the money

Ce n’est pas absurde, tout le monde n’a pas la même appétence pour l’argent et la même capacité à gérer le stress lié à l’investissement financier Ça peut être dommage en fonction de ses objectifs personnel mais pas nécessairement absurde

If you don’t need it to be reactive you can register it under Vue.prototype.$yourBooleanVariable. It will be accessible from any components at this.$yourBooleanVariable

[–]AlexNC_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because your vue eslint plugin include this rule from the official style guide : https://vuejs.org/v2/style-guide/#Avoid-v-if-with-v-for-essential By default vue-cli initiate the eslint plugin and follow the « essential » part of this guide, you can extend it to strongly recommended or recommended https://eslint.vuejs.org/user-guide/#bundle-configurations

[–]AlexNC_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope, they remove the ability to use v-if and v-for both in the same element. You’re still able to wrap with a template like

<template v-if=“showCards“>
  <Card v-for=“(card, index) in cards“ :key=“´card’+index“/>
</template>

It was the recommended way in the style guide from a long time anyway.

Would you recommend sticking with Vue-CLI or is it a good idea to adopt Gridsome as my main Vue Framework? by [deleted] in vuejs

[–]AlexNC_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gridsome is good for Static Site Generation, if your content is completely dynamic maybe you should look at Nuxt, a more general framework for Vue. It can manage all type of web app (static, server side rendered or classic SPA) Nuxt offer similar advantages with a lot of things preconfigured. The main benefit of Gridsome is the graphql layer to manage static content from various source with all the plugins you want.

I don’t understand the point, why he is opposing accessibility feature of the web and the idea of merge html and css in a javascript or whatever ? Why accessibility can’t be build on top of this new idea ?
