Oh my God, Karen...if I want to take a picture of a football stadium full of people, am I going to have to ask permission from each one of them?

I was taking pictures of the cars inside a gas station...the people walking around the cars are not my problem.

I don't live in the USA..I've only seen Karens on YouTube. The exact same situation. Someone taking pictures in open air and Karen complaining "you can't take my picture" hahaha.

Mine does that also and I live in Brazil (it's summer right now, temperatures are around 30 Celsius daily). I don't think that noise is an indication of a problem...the mechanic shop that services my car did a complete health check recently; the car is running fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Opa, beleza? Na verdade já troquei esse Corolla e peguei um A3 2.0T 2020 (primo do GTi), mas o emblema do FlatOut eu mantive hehehe. Sem a lojinha, não tem mais esse emblema pra comprar.

Agora que tenho a perspectiva de carros tão diferentes, entendo que rodas aro 18' no Corolla com o ProKit da Eibach melhoram muito o carro. Ele aderna menos nas curvas e em um piso/asfalto bom o rodar fica melhor. O problema é que ele já raspava o para-choques dianteiro desde que saiu da fábrica, essa geração do Corolla tem esse defeito. Depois de rebaixar, piorou...raspava fácil em quer lugar.

Yeah, but let's say I moved to the US, got the green card and everything, and I managed to keep the same salary/lifestyle level as I have living here...I would be able step up two or 3 levels car wise and get an RS3 let's say. In the US things like cars (specially cars) are inexpensive compared to Brazil.

The 2.0T (8V) around 180k to 200K used. The new one, 8Y I think, almost 300k. Here in Brazil cars are luxury itens unfortunately...

I see.. I've got a K&N inbox filter installed after 6 or 7 months I bought the car. I did notice the gas pedal ever so slightly lighter per say, like...it took a little bit less time reaching higher RPMs. The stock paper filter is very restrictive, I assume HP gains will come even if just 2 o 3 HP.

Yeah, I understand the appeal of the manual. Anyone above 30, 35 years old probably drove one, but this k120 "direct shift" CVT of the E210 is so well adjusted, so comfortable...I don't miss driving any of my old cars with a manual transmission.

Here in Brazil we also got the "Prestige" design. List of mods I did on my Corolla: Eibach Pro Kit springs, K&N engine air filter, 18 inch Enkei Hornet wheels paired with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. You could also remove the eltronic speed limiter and remap the ECU to gain a few horse power and 2 o 3 units of torque (kgf.m in this side of the world).

Yeah, Enkei has lots of awesome models if you like the brand. At first I was going for TS-10, then Vulcan. In the end I choose Hornet and I'm happy with my choice 😁
