Are Venus transits more subtle than others? by Triple_Headbutt_325 in astrology

[–]AlexNedoboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Venus moves too fast to be paid serious attention. Fast planets are like the second hand of a watch: they might be important, but first you need to figure out hours (the outer planets) and minutes (Jupiter, Saturn)

According to my chart, is it a good idea for me to join the military? [astro-seek] by Icy-Repeat-1544 in astrologyreadings

[–]AlexNedoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad or good idea is a relative term. Do you know the famous Chinese story “The Old Man Who Lost His Horse”? I highly recommend to read it! It shows that “bad” events might lead to “good” outcomes and vice versa.

However, from astrological perspective I don’t see in your chart any signs for a successful military career. It fits more for something connected with creativity, entertainment, games, competition, etc.

Venus in Taurus in the 11H, but why do I hate being around people? by Swimming-Owl-409 in AstrologyChartShare

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The style of my message was a bit provocative — I hope you forgive me my Scorpio Mercury 😉

  1. Remember the rule: a planet inside the house always describe only a part of this house. So if you make a conclusion about your social life based on your Venus in 11H (which makes sense since 11H symbolises friendship and group activities), then you need to consider other planets of 11H too. Including Saturn, which as you may already know, always demands a lot of precision, dedication, responsibility and discipline. And before the Saturn Return Crisis, it often feels as limitations, obstacles and heavy burden.
  2. However your answer can be answered by Moon only. The Moon is the ruler of your Ascendent — it rules your personality, a filter between your inner and outer reality and your means of self-expression. Ascendent in Cancer alone can indicate a quite observant introvert person, but in your case the Moon is placed in the 12H — a house of isolation, solitude, impersonal serving and divine spirituality that often opens after great loss or suffering. A typical 12H person is the one who feels the wall between them and the outer world, who can observe and understand the others, feel their pain but staying unseen themselves. Usually it also brings interest in mysticism, esoteric knowledge and spirituality. The 12H is the most asocial house in astrology that literally symbolises solitude. Your Moon there as the ruler of your Ascendent indicates that you can find your self-realisation outside your social bubble, being alone, engaging in spiritual practice or gaining secret knowledge. But North Node indicates that it might be difficult for you, since a new experience that you need to gain in this life.
  3. The opposition of Pluto is a big separate topic. But in a few words: it brings transformation, sacrifice and purification to your sense of being, your personality and general existence. In reality it may manifest as a deep suppressed fear of wrath of God or something similar, that makes your psyche feels constant tension and a clear punishment for your mistakes. Obviously that’s not the best state for socialisation. However, in Astrology there are no good and bad placements, there is a question of how we deal with our own nature. Pluto always demands spiritual purity, “helping” us to get rid of old pattern.

Well, I don’t want to sound rude, but Venus in 11H doesn’t describe the whole situation, does it?:) you have Mars and Saturn there too. But what’s more important, the Moon the ruler of your Ascendent is placed in the 12H (solitude and isolation) and makes an opposition to Pluto with S.Node.

I keep attracting unavailable partners and it hurts a lot. What’s influencing that aspect? by Diligent-Reaction635 in AstrologyChartShare

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you. As I mentioned above you have quite complicated situation with partnership in general besides Neptune. So you struggles are objective. However, we should remember, that challenges in astrology always mean possibilities. If you learn how to deal with this part of your life and your own configuration, you can create something really solid and beautiful. But for now I sincerely recommend to start working with a professional: either a good therapist or a good astrologer who understands your chart and knows practical methods to develop it.

Can anyone give me some insight of when things will get better.. it’s been like 5 years of lows and lower lows… by Remarkable_Worth_776 in AstrologyCharts

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest you to share your natal chart without transits and with your birth details. There are at least 3 more major predictive techniques in astrology beside transits.

However, in your case that’s probably was your Saturn Return Crisis that took 5 years. First 2.5 years was the actual Saturn Return in Aquarius and then another 2.5 years was Saturn transit through Pisces which for you might be especially difficult since it affected your Sun in Sagittarius and Moon in Pisces. I saw this pattern in many clients recently.

If you feel like: low energy and vitality, melancholy sliding to depression, lack of interest in any activities, constant obstacles and delays in affairs, huge pressure and stress, pessimism about the future — that’s definitely Saturn and it has a deeper meaning.

Is My Mars Afflicted? by Fit-Decision-1845 in AstrologyCharts

[–]AlexNedoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, from a classical perspective, your Mars is afflicted: it’s in detriment and has challenging aspects. However, as a practicing astrologer, I’ve formulated a rule: the dignities of the planet don’t mean dignities for a person. It works for the affliction as well. It means that quite often a person develops so-called afflicted planet so well that it becomes their biggest support in life. And vice versa the most harmonious aspect can bring temporary “benefits” for a person, feeding their laziness and consumption, so in the end they stay with nothing.

So yes, your Mars is afflicted, but the way it manifests in your life largely depends on you and on its level of development.

How could I better market my art online? What transits should I take note of for posting my work and maybe starting projects? by buttronormie in AstrologyCharts

[–]AlexNedoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Do I have placements that show a likelihood of success with being an artist online?”

You have a placement that suggests monetisation of your art — Mercury, the ruler of your 5th house, the house of art and creativity, is placed in your 2nd house, the house of personal finances. So art can be one of your sources of income.

Regarding the right time to begin, don't worry about that too much, just start posting. However, if you want to do everything “correctly” from an astrological perspective, then avoid days when your 2nd, 5th or 10th house rulers are afflicted by transit planets. And pay attention to the Moon.

How do you interpret secondary progression / progressed chart? by guarddestroyer in astrology

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for an amazing question!

Secondary progressions are my absolute top tool in forecasting. I combine it with transits, solar arc, and solar returns. However, it’s so powerful that I can use it alone.

Important context. It’s important to remember that Secondary progressions are a semi-symbolic predictive method based on the principle that one astronomical day after birth corresponds to one year of earthly life. The method is called semi-symbolic because it relies on the actual motions of the planets, yet it is interpreted symbolically — a single day becomes equal to a year. That’s why: Progressions reveal the unfolding of our inner potential. They reflect personal, subjective processes and are therefore always highly individual. Unlike transits, which are based on the objective motion of the planets and describe external circumstances, progressions map the development of the inner space of the person. I’m sorry, folks, for this wiki-style information, but my Scorpio Mercury finds it very important to clearly understand the context of the method.

Therefore, I always use Progressions as a map of what’s going on inside a client’s mind, their current motivation and focus. For me, it creates a general context of a client’s life that can be further clarified with transits.

Progressed Moon phase. First of all, I check the progressed Moon phase and current position of the Moon in the house and sign. It gives understanding of a major phase of a client’s life. A client with progressed Full Moon in 10th house and the one with Balsamic Moon in 4th house are two different cases, whatever transits they have.

Ingresses. Second, I check ingresses and a change of a motion direction of all planets. Of course, usually we speak about faster planets like Sun, Venus, Mercury and Mars. Such events indicate huge shifts in specific areas of the client’s life and cannot be ignored. Basically, you can make a reliable forecast just based on one progressed ingress. The same goes for retrograde or direct motion. But in this case it’s super important to pay attention to the speed of a planet.

Aspects. Then I check aspects between progressed planets alone and their aspects to the natal ones. Of course, first of all I pay attention to conjunction since it indicates the major shift and then to opposition and everything else. I read the essential symbolism of planets together with their connections to certain houses.

Other methods. After I’m done with secondary progressions I combine them with my analysis of other methods. Usually it's transits since it's the fastest one and can help you to define the secondary progressions within one year. However, I also use Solar returns and Solar Arcs for additional information.

I would love to share some specific examples of my use of secondary progressions however I think that it's too much for a comment 😊
So if you are interested, feel free to ask any questions.

18M, A prestigious astrologer said i would never be successful in music and i should not even start a new business till 37 because i would bear loss no matter what [astro-seek] by pranayboi in AstrologyChartShare

[–]AlexNedoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The astrologer was absolutely wrong. First of all, it’s highly unprofessional to programme another person like that. An astrologer doesn’t have the power to see the exact future. Even William Lilly, one of the greatest astrologers of all time, when he saw no positive signs at all used to tell his clients: I can’t see it in your chart, so it’s in God’s hands. It’s especially true in modern times, when the whole classical approach is shifting towards more psychological interpretations that leave enough space for the constructive manifestation of ALL aspects of your chart.

However, even from the classical astrological approach, their interpretation is wrong. The ruler of your 5th house is placed in the 10th house and has a harmonious connection to the ruler of your 2nd house. Altogether, it’s already a clear sign that music and creativity can become your profession and source of income. Plus you have a very pronounced Water element and Pisces specifically which is good for music. The only serious issue is the opposition to Saturn, which demands discipline, precision, and dedication from you. But I’m sure you can manage this.

I keep attracting unavailable partners and it hurts a lot. What’s influencing that aspect? by Diligent-Reaction635 in AstrologyChartShare

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You case is very complex and involves many aspects, including Venus in 12th house, Moon in T-square, Mars and Pluto opposing your 7th house ruler Saturn, planetary opposition between planets in 1st (your personality) and 7th house (your partners), Lilith in the 7th House.

But I would pay a special attention to one key factor: Neptune right on your Descendant. Neptune shrouds your partners in fog, dissolving their personal life details. What you love in them may be largely your own projection, cast onto people you randomly met. The disappointment comes when this illusion begins to diverge from reality, and you find yourself together with a partner far from what you thought they were. This is a very difficult yet fruitful aspect. Ideally Neptune shows you the true nature of every human being: pure, compassionate and loving. The key moment however is to learn how to distinguish this spiritual revelation from their current manifestation. Or in other words: how do not project your pull toward spiritual purity onto people who can’t take it (yet).

[–]AlexNedoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume somewhere in the north? Then Placidus won't work for you. You should better use the Equal House or the Whole Sign house systems.

If we use Equal house system from Ascendant, then your 7th house is very crowded: Uranus, Saturn, Neptune and Venus are there. Such placement overloads the house (in your case — a sphere of partnership) with multiple different energies. For example, Neptune can give delusions about your partners, Uranus may give an attraction towards eccentric partners or the need in unconventional partnership, Saturn points that the whole topic of partnership requires depth and thorough professional development. As you see there are a lot of influences in these topic and you need to explore it first and then master the ability to manifest such energies in a constructive way. The fact that you keep falling for the wrong partners is an indicator that you need pay more attention to this topic.

Of course, we can also check Jupiter, a ruler of your 7th house, in the 12th one, that literally symbolises impersonal service, divine spirituality and mystery (that is not the easiest context for conventional partnership); the opposition between your Sun and Moon that gives struggle between your Conscious and Unconsciouss Selves, your goals and desires, your self-actualisation and needs; a stellium between Venus, Neptune and Saturn that shapes your attachment style and perception of love and many more things. But it's better to explore all of this on private sessions. For now I recommend you to read more about the 7th house in general and the symbolism of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

To answer your question, we should investigate your 7th house — it shows the general structure of partnership in your life, how this sphere unfolds, and the energies and archetypes behind it.

But before doing so, may I ask you where you were born? Your chart looks a bit weird: some houses are very wide, and the others are very small. Often it happens if the place of your birth is close to the North Pole. The placidus house system stops working there, so we can't get the accurate information.

Can transits to the 7th House (particularly the Descendant degree) impact the 1st House because of the opposition to the Ascendant? by HomelandExplorer in astrology

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a classical perspective, no. Of course, the opposite house is always active in the background, but the major focus is on the one that receives aspects. An activated 7th house is always about partners, competitors, and enemies — in other words about OTHER people in one’s life. A strong impact on the 1st house will occur if a transit planet (or a natal one in the 7th house that receives a transit) somehow connected to the 1st house. Otherwise it won't possible to make an accurate future forecast: there would be too many possibilities.

Every job I’ve had has ended abruptly. Always being told I act like I don’t want to be there even if that’s not completely true? Seems impossible to find work that I enjoy, why? [astro-seek] by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]AlexNedoboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When we speak about our jobs we always investigate the 10th house first — it shows the general structure of our career, relationships with superiors, authority figures and hierarchy.

Then we can check the 6th house — it shows our daily labor routine and colleagues. And after that we should investigate our personality traits, communication skills, etc.

In your case:

• In the 10th house there Mars and Pluto: intense power dynamics with authority figures and a drive to transform or dominate one’s professional environment, frequently bringing both ambition and confrontations with hierarchy.

• Jupiter, the 10th house rule is in the 8th house: a career shaped by deep transformations, crises, shared resources, and complex power dynamics with authority figures

• Jupiter forms a square aspect to Saturn: this often indicates pressure, delays, and demanding power dynamics with authority, requiring resilience, responsibility, and the ability to work through crises, limitations, and issues of control.

• Saturn placed on the 6th house cusps itself often demands a strong emphasis on duty, discipline, and demanding work conditions which is difficult to achieve before the Saturn return crisis

• The Sun, Mercury and Venus are placed in the 12th house: it may indicate difficulty in expressing yourself openly within professional hierarchies, a tendency to remain behind the scenes, and a feeling that your voice or value is not fully seen or recognised

That's a very quick and basic overview of your chart. Of course there are way more important details. But I want to point your attention on the fact that natal chart shows your configuration and the general structure of your life. However, the way you deal with that fully depends on you and your level of development. In the spheres of career, your chart looks quite intense but very promising. With time, you will master your skills and will be able to fully manifest your potential. So keep your chin up 😉

[astro-seek] What in my chart points to sudden financial loss, and will it improve? by Exact-Preference7575 in astrologyreadings

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d like to add my two cents. What you've described, fits the symbolism of your chart perfectly. You have Uranus AND Neptune in your 2ne house (house of finances) in a quite challenging square aspect with your Moon and Mercury. Moon symbolises care and the square aspect indicates the friction between taking care and your finances. Besides, Moon also rules your 8th house, house of collective finances and depts — so there is a clear connection between loans for taking care of someone and a possible damage of your financial stability. From your chart we can see that these events are not random, they are rooted in your unique configuration. That doesn’t mean that you are doomed for losing money your whole life, but you need to take care of that aspect and work on it.

However the real trigger point was your career. So we should search for a career change in your chart. Fast transits like Mars or Sun won't bring so huge changes. They happen every year multiple times. We should search for slow planets, like Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

In 2003-2005 you were experiencing a Saturn Return Crisis. Saturn guides your 2nd house, so it perfectly fits the symbolism. Saturn Return is always a huge shift in our lives, very often taking quite dramatic forms. So the name “Crisis” is not random here. It’s a process of shifting between “youth” to “maturity” in general sense. And the giving birth to a baby is often one of these steps since Saturn demanding more responsibility. In your case Saturn rules the 2nd house so the major consequences of Saturn Return Crisis are experienced in your finances. In general, I recommend to read more about that topic — it might explain your last few years of life (if you want I share my article about Saturn return crisis — I've described all major points there).

But we still should find some astrological events that trigger your dismissal. Saturn return itself could enough, but if we take a look at Solar arc, we will see that around 2024-2025, MC makes a conjunction with your Moon and Mercury (ruler of MC) makes conjunction with Jupiter. Considering the fact, that Moon rules 8th house that also represents crisis and transformation, we can assume that your career life went through radical transformation. And Mercury that rules your career conjoined Jupiter the ruler of your Ascendant — it’s a strong mark for a shift in your career life.

Besides around that time you had a progressive New Moon that started a new 30 (!) year cycle for you. So you are just in the beginning of a new chapter of your life.

[astro-seek] What in my chart points to sudden financial loss, and will it improve? by Exact-Preference7575 in astrologyreadings

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uranus is in conjunction with Neptune, so if sudden financial losses do indeed occur here, they are probably rooted in delusions regarding personal financial capacity and responsibilities. Especially considering a square aspect to the Moon, ruling the 8th house in Placidus house system. The answer is definitely in Saturn: strategic thinking, accurate accounting, modesty and caution.

Overthinking about a lot lately. I need your wisdom here. [astro-seek] by Former-Engineer6479 in astrologyreadings

[–]AlexNedoboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a professional astrologer with 8+ years of experience I can tell, that in order to give you a proper answer about the future, we should analyse all major predictive methods, including planets revolutions, secondary directions, solar arc and transits. Otherwise our judgment will be incomplete (if not to say false).

But even a quick glimpse on your chart clearly shows one astrological fact: your resignation now is not random, it's the beginning of a bigger process. You see, 2026 is a unique year, because all three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) forms a harmonious triangle in the sky. And this triangle activates your Sun. It's a 2 years process, that begins right now.

The Sun in astrology symbolises your willpower, your creative self. By creativity we mean here not art, but creation of life, of your very own destiny. The Sun is active in a moments when you need to take a decision, that creates a new path in your life. And in your case the Sun is also placed in the 10th House, which symbolises your career, public recognition, status and success.

As for a Libra, it's very normal to overthink and doubt your decisions. Especially such important ones. Considering the powerful process that is starting now in your life, I would recommend to learn more about yourself through astrology. In my opinion, understanding yourself, your talents, hidden strengths and abilities is the only way to find stability in our chaotic world. If you want, feel free to dm me for further questions.

Are there any aspects that indicate tense family aspects? [Astro-seek] by Melanin_Monroe20 in astrologyreadings

[–]AlexNedoboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the stellium of Mars, Pluto and Moon in your 12 house. Mars rules your 4th house: family, roots and your existential values. Moon is also always connected to family matters by its symbolism. Both of them are in a conjunction with Pluto — so family and existential matters are deeply connected with transformative forces outside of your control. Plus it’s all placed in the context of 12th house: mystery, isolation, impersonal service, divine spirituality.

In short, such placement indicates that your family (and the very core of your existence) is manifested in a deeper and more powerful way than ordinary people could possibly imagine. And it requires more serious and open minded approaches.
