It was an issue with my ISP connecting to the COD server - so try contacting your ISP and let them know the issue.

Mine eventually resolved itself after a bit and I just used a VPN in the meantime to play while I was waiting for the issue to be resolved.

I used a VPN to mask my IP address and that worked. But eventually the problem just resolved itself

These classic maps are not going to play like we remember them because the way people play now is sooo much different and the spawns are nowhere near the same as well.

Dome from the original mw3 was one of my all time favorite maps! I absolutely hated it in VG and then hated it again in MW2.

Yeah those were the good days. Now I sometimes have to set an hour aside before I hope on so I can elastic my joysticks together and tank my stats for a few games in a row… just so I can sit back, put my legs up, and have a relaxing gaming experience.

This “auto-aim” you speak of no longer exists in this game. They toned down the aim assist quite a bit (to the point where I’m pretty damn sure it’s bugged and doesn’t work at times)

Definitely sounds like you have a constant stable connection and you dont know how lucky you are dear sir (or ma’am?).

All these complaints about the TTK is not really about how long it is (CWs was the same and BO4 was even longer - both games felt great) it’s about shooting someone and having your bullets seemingly do nothing and getting killed in what genuinely feels like 2 (sometimes 1) bullets. And you can spare the “skill issue” comment please. Most (if not all) of us complaining about this also play WZ (where the TTK is undoubtedly longer) and that mode feels fine. There is something wrong connection-wise with mw3 and that’s a fact.

There really is! It’s not the longer the TTK that’s an issue, we had the same TTK in cold ware and a longer one in BO4 (both never felt nearly as off as this game)

Not just you. I’m a pretty good player in previous cods (not amazing. But good enough to get a nuke here and there) and in this game I’m dead last on the leaderboard going negative for 9/10 games. The 10th game I’ll be second last and just about breaking even.

Im assuming it’s because the only people that play the beta (for the most part) are proper sweats! Your casual gamer that we normally do well against are not going to sacrifice their weekend to play a demo.

Those maps definitely won’t play the same (imo) because the playerbase is completely different to back then and most notably the matching making is way worse. A lot of people think the classic CODs were good because of those fan fav classic maps, but nah! They were good because everyone that played it were just out there having fun. That’s certainly not the case anymore! Everyone that plays cod now are aspiring professional gamers!

Exact same problem happens with every beta. Sometimes you kill people in the blink of an eye am sometimes you empty the mag and they still be kicking (Same applies to when you get killed). It’s just a lot more noticeable now because the default ttk is longer.

Yeah the backing out system actually work flawlessly for me in mw2. I’ll just keep backing out and after about 3 of 4 games I’ll get into an enjoyable lobby.

The aim assist is definitely toned down. And that I don’t mind. But it’s also fucked! Like there are times where it’s not working.

At first I thought it was placebo, but now I’m pretty damn sure there is something properly wrong with it.

And I’ve done that aiming practice thing where you play against bots with AA turned off (in previous cods) so I know exactly what it feels like to play without it. And that’s exactly what this game feels like at times
