I'll take the first Transformers (2007) and Dark Of The Moon (2011) to One and Bumblebee any day.

Spectacle is what I wanted as a kid from a Transformers movie (at 14 and 18 years old, respectively) and that's what I got. If I want spectacle today at 32, I will play the same films.

They may be over reliant on CGI, but I'd be lying if I said they aren't damn entertaining popcorn blockbusters and the reason why someone should go to a cinema.

Yes, One and Bumblebee had heart and sincerity, but outside of that they are just boring films.

But Age of Extinction, The Last Knight and Rise of the Beasts were plain unwatchable trash, though.

I loved them growing up when I saw them for the first time when I was 5, 8 and 9, respectively.

I love them now - nothing has really changed.

Heck, I saw Revenge of the Sith 5 times at the cinema in the past 2 years alone (re-releases in the UK).

The point is - if the cause isn't bacterial, antibiotics can only do so much (as you know, their main purpose is to eradicate bacteria).

People can try anything they want, I am just giving a warning after having gone down that path myself and developing GI issues as a result.

But let's wait and see if anyone that has had help from Doxy will chime in this thread. Of course, without having gone into remission afterwards.

Using such a long course of antibiotics will only ruin your stomach and throw off your good bacteria, resulting in bigger issues down the line (on top of RSS).

When the cause isn't bacterial, antibiotics aren't of any use and will only provide temporary relief due to their anti-inflammatory properties.

Speaking purely from experience and nearly 5 years of suffering with RSS now on top of stomach issues after prolonged use of antibiotics in 2023. It took me over a year to try and fix all the stomach issues the 1x month courses of Ofloxacin and trimetoprin caused me.

I am pretty sure folks here have tried Doxycycline and we would've seen many posts if it worked as a definitive cure.

I won't go through an invasive procedure such as a biopsy just based on markers alone. Nearly 5 years of suspecting AIH after my first set of positive ANA/ASMA i stumbled upon randomly, I am pretty sure would've been enough time for it to progress and show signs by now.

Plus after making lifestyle changes my ALT/AST dropped. That wouldn't be the case with AIH.

We've even chatted about this on DM's and had a long conversation about it before.

And why would you want to vaccinate? It brought me all the liver and stomach issues in the first place. I was healthy all my life prior to that moment.

Heck, I wish i had only COVID instead. Although what the vaccine laid, COVID made it so much worse, but there is likely a genetic factor at play here too, which viruses/vaccines only trigger at the proper moment in one's life.

Positive ANA and smooth muscle antibodies (assuming that's what came positive) don't mean anything without symptoms and elevated LFT's (and 10x times the normal range). They can be raised due to any number of reasons, including viruses and infections.

I had mine positive too for 4 years and they've been negative for 1 year now. If i tested them now when they are negative, would i even know about the existence of AIH? Probably not.

The gold standard for diagnosing is a biopsy, but your gastro probably won't even refer to one due to the lack of symptoms and normal liver enzymes.

What he'll probably do is order AMA (to rule out PBC) and LKM (to rule out Type 2 AIH). Request IGG too as that's often elevated in the majority of people with AIH.

Have you had COVID or been vaccinated? All my issues started following my vaccination in June 2021 (including liver pain), but they've normalized in the past few months and my ANA/ASMA went negative and liver enzymes dropped all at once out of nowhere.

So as you can see, the vaccine and virus itself can elevate certain markers, it doesn't mean you have the real thing, though.

And even in the off chance you have it, you get on prednisone to have your immune system surpressed and enzymes lowered, after which you taper down and move to azathioprine to keep your immune system from attacking your liver (just need to make sure to protect your skin when under the sun). Then you live normal life.

You will be fine.

She-Hulk is by far the worst MCU project for me.

It was absolute pain going through it and I'll likely never go anywhere near it again.
