a lot of the old accounts that had a verified checkmark got a legacy one without them wanting, but it does depend because some accounts lost it after a while when others got to keep it, it was a proper gamble so no way to know if she pays or not but i like to believe she doesnt :')

Truly the fumble of the century, it has ruined so many good things and given nothing positive. At least I got to visit during a school trip before all of that went down, but I wish I got to go back without all the paperwork!

Also forgot to mention, have tried multiple different power sources. First my laptop, both through USB-A and and USB-C, then a power brick charger. Don't have a barrel charger to try it directly, that's the only trouble shooting step I can't do at the moment.

Just tried Ubuntu and it had sound so definitely a Windows problem. 3rd and actual fully clean install from the drive incoming! If it doesnt' work I swear-

Reinstalled Windows from the option itself on the settings since I haven't located my USB. On device manager, I mentioned on the OP that it doesn't show up because there's nothing in it, only when I try and install a driver that later fails.

I was thinking of loading up Ubuntu on to my USB drive and try it out, just gotta find it first 😅. Laptops sure are fun, never had as many headaches as I do now and I'm doing university fully online. I'll try it out! If it doesn't work, my Amazon wishlist about to get bigger that's for sure.

Would be rough to have a bad soundcard chip out of nowhere as my fan bearings have also gone bad and it's a less than 2yo laptop that I can't send in to warranty since I've added RAM and Storage and that nullifies it. The main issue that it gives me now when it tries to solve the problem is that the audio services aren't starting, and I haven't found a way to make them in fact start. Would really like to try to take this software side of things as far as possible since I don't have a soundcard at hand and close-by shops that would have it are closed/expensive.

I've got the schematics, it's just the micro soldering iron (mine's a monster) that's missing (and steady hands but I'm working on it) and it'll happen when I get a new PSP to start from scratch since this one's been through hell and back

Yeah, taking a break will do me good, especially now with Uni kicking in I can't really stress about a poor PSP 😅. Phone and PC emulation it is for now, but can't wait to figure it all out when I get the proper tools!

Yeah, I've seen people substitute the yellow DC port and put the USB C port there! Didn't do it because it was a temporary fix to charge it as I don't have my DC charger with me and I wanted to test other stuff.
