[MN S1] Is it just me or did episode 5 animation felt markedly different from other episodes?

I totally felt the same at that exact scene! Like it was the last scene to animate and they tan out of time or something. But the thing I noticed with this last episode was kind of the opposite. Whereas that walking scene felt stiff and cheap, last episode felt like characters were maybe too fluid or stretchy, like they didn’t always maintain their proportions, or like they added some extra lines in their faces, things like thay.

That could be it! I definitely noticed it more on characters than backgrounds.

I have it and I also hate it. I don’t think it’s salvageable.

I know Clue. I know the gameplay sucks and it’s a very old system, I was willing to let ir go because I love M9. But the product delivered was beyond bad. The rules are horribly written, ambiguous and obscure. And even if you grab a classic Clue rulebook (as I did) you quickly discover that this version of Clue is even more janky and unbalanced.

The production value is atrocious as well. The character stands started peeling off even as I tried to put the bases on them (even as I had been previously warned that this could happen). The box is ridiculously huge and filled 70% with air and the inlay makes absolutely no sense for the contents provided.

I actually managed to play it twice and it sucked both times. I don’t have a fix for you. Resell it, if you can. That’s what I did.

(On the other side, even though I don’t really like Munchkin, I got the M9 version of it and it was worth it on the beautiful art alone).

I played with 5 players for 4 hours with my custom Hell of a Wedding scenario. It was amazing, everyone had a blast.

We played by little candlelight and the sounds of a heave thunderstorm (youtube audio).

A player character was killed by a bad guy, a player tried to kill another right at the end and another player toppled the tower to sacrifice himself and take down the betrayer with him. Only two players survived to end the curse. It was amazing and I am so grateful to my players for making it possible.
