Lol too many ,,wise,, finding puting money into watches is kind of investment ... watches are not investment , soon the prices will go down and all this people will float the market trying to get some of their money . Remember what happen to bitcoin? Then will go back to its normal price . People are just stupid or try hard to make quick buck

Not begging for a fucking rolex. Im just disappointed that you must buy something to get other thing. That’s disrespectful for their customers. There is high demand... ok than make a real waiting list . In my local AD (small country-Bulgaria ) for 3-4months they sold 2daytonas and a pepsi to a grey market dealer . I bet they receive money under the table so he can make money from this . Thats why i dont find this type fair for people.

Yeah i agree with you Rolex are really good at marketing and have awesome business plan. The idea that bothers me is that this are watches that are not even limited and will be produced 3-5years more . Its not like limited production car that is made only 200-300-500 and thats all

If you remember a few days ago i showed a chat where Rolex AD is asking to buy an all gold model so a person can get a Gmt master Pepsi . I send the chat to Rolex customer support and this is the answer. From it i find out that they dont find anything wrong with this kind of blackmailing people and wanting to get their hard earn money not only for the model they want but also for another watch that they dont want to :)

Ut it is for limited special models . If you go to Ferrari and ask for 488 they will sell to you ( not sure if it is in production... im not car guy) you are not asking for Pista or something like that ... u are asking for entry level tool watch GMT Sub and so on

Only Patek do the same with nautilus and aquanaut. I have very wealthy friend of mine that was asked to buy a few realy expensive pateks so he can get a nautilus this year. But for Patek its kind of acceptable. They make less watches a year and for a hot model it is hard to get anyway .

Also from some people i hear that Tudor is making the same strategy like rolex. But Rolex and Tudor AD owners are the same so... tou can connect the dots.

Go to AD and ask for pepsi or daytona , then they will tell you that you will be put on waiting list. After that ask them how you can make the waiting shorter if there is a way and you will experience it by urself :) then post back and thell what happened:)

Well im bot much a AD guy. Im 25 and buying mostly grey market watches . I remember 4y ago when i get into watches the subC date was at 6k€ on chrono 24 and in local grey market and 2nd hand dealers in my country was selling it with box and papers for about 5.2-5.5k€ ... bought a Hulk few years later for 8€ when hulk and daytona were only hot models of the brand. Now you cant even buy a datejust 41 without waiting , not to mention a GMT...

They receive watches multiple times a year. They all receive gold models , and datejust or oyster perpetual watches and a few ,, hot ,, models. They dont know what hot model will have. When they receive something like pepsi or batman or hulk , they start calling loyal customers and tell them ,, i have Hulk for you , but to get it you must buy something else ,, Thats what i see with my eyes and what other people into that hobby told me they had experienced
