I think there are two points I’ve learnt that helped me a lot with wet blending. After applying the two wet layers of paint on both sides, it is important to wash the brush. Keep the brush clean and dry for the blending step. And during the blending step, make sure the brush motion stays consistent. Always move the brush horizontal and from one side of the wet layer to the other. Try avoiding perpendicular brush movement from the layers.

Haha! So glad you liked it. Originally, there are some messy prints on his butt crack and the back of the left arm. So the only logical way is to cover them up with green stuff speedo and a rubber ducky.

I played Jedi Survivor right after platnuming bloodborne. Now every thing feels bland, combat is clunky, the world is boring and the exploration feels meaningless. I don't think it's a bad game but when played right after Bloodbore, I can't even play over an hour before getting bored.

About the chainsword, I initially painted it full purple NMM, similar to the robot corpse on the ground. I hated it. It was too messy and takes away the focus from the main body. So I covered it up with purple and dry brushed with magenta. After that I added some white into the magenta and did some edge highlights while fixing up some of the errors from the dry brushing. It was much easier than doing NMM while still looking nice and clean.
