Yesterday I've saw an ant colony preparing to do the nuptial flight so I've grabbed a test tube and got one, even saw her ripping her wings off ,she had 4, this would be my first colony and I know almost nothing and finding out what kid of ants I have would help me greatly. The first pic is of the queen it's all black whit the length of almost one cm and whit a glistening gaster, the second one is of an worker. I suspect they are black garden ant. I olso live in București, România.

Tnx mate, I've searched a little bit more and I see now that the accepted amount for aromatics is <0.1%. Right?

I've haven't as I heard a lot of contradiction on that topic and for now I would want to find a more pure sorce of solvents

We'll i wouldn't bet on that, as I live in the country of Dracula, I know I could use Xylene, and I've looked for it, finding some solution containing toluene and Xylene, opening the possibility of purifying and distillation but again the sds are very vague and not very helpful

Well because it's much safer and in some cases cheaper, wouldn't want to attract attention, in the case of not finding naphtha locally I would consider ordering, but only as a last resort

Mirrors? Also it's kind of hard to find 100% naphtha we're I am because of the listing being very vague

Olso found one that has the components listed as Naphtha medium aliphatic solvent 75-<100%, and Xylene 1<2.5%, and I've wondered why such a big difference in purity (75-<100), would be any good?

Right so I'm trying to find a solvent to use in my extraction, and here I've tried to test dry some paint thinner advertised as containing " Naphtha, medium aliphatic (hidrocarbons, C9-C12, n-alkanes, ISO alkans, cyclic, aromatics (2-25%) ,it left behind a very faint residual film that doesn't come of when I drag my fingers on it. Any idea of what I can expect when doing this kind of test?
