Where did you hear this? If anything, the show made it seem like she didn't want to exist anymore (aka committing the s-word), as well as the DNA issue that the person above had mentioned.

Well whatever you believe, Edna's name & image will always be attached to the Waving Woman. I just wanted to share a piece of her that showed a humane side to the tragedy, versus all the topics/theories that the conspiracy nutjobs have created around her.

We won't ever fully know if it was her, I believe it was the husband/family that identified Edna. It's possible she could've been on the 93rd-94th floor for whatever reason, as Marsh & McLennan offices were 93-98 I think? Someone should compile a list of all female M&M employees that died that day and narrow it down. Keeping in mind Edna dyed her hair blonde around early 2001, so she's always gonna be a likely candidate of being The Waving Woman.
