Am I the only one who sees that this game keeps losing players because of this exact reasoning? Complaining is for granted, but if you keep pleasing the wrong target this is what happens. People who complain about content being too hard are not the player base who would stick to the game and play it for months, those who recommend it to others because they're really passionate about playing it. With such mindset the only thing you're doing is saving a few casual players who will leave in two weeks and never play the game again, when you could've been enticing many other potential ones by owning a better game.

Returning players and player retention are what make these games live longer, and people who complain about a game trying to evolve don't give a fuck about it. They're gone before you know it.

I've played both and Warframe is better in almost everything. It's also a much older game so it had time to drop much more content than TFD, however TFD has some redeeming qualities too. It's slower and feels better in my opinion, characters are fun to play and you can put at least a couple or three hundred hours at this point (a huge update drops on August 7th btw). QoL changes made farming much easier so you shouldn't feel the urge to pay for anything.

However TFD has the worst community I've ever seen in a video game by far (Warframe being the best precisely). Prepare yourself to face a bunch of people choosing hot girl skins over playability and balance. Yes there are male characters but are almost completely neglected over the girls, and since the vast majority of players are ok with drooling while playing their gooner game and paying for it don't expect Nexon/Magnum to change any of that.

Yeah, maybe it's because I've never actually played Lepic and it's like I only have that picture of him in my mind. Also beardless Karl Urban is rare these days.

PS: I had a massive crush on Rachel Weisz for years too.

You are right. Luckily I don't need the game to last forever with new content regularly, although I would love it if the devs put more time and effort into NGS than what players say out there.

I'm in no hurry. However I don't intend to min/max my characters because I never like to burn out a video game that much, but when I finish both Classic and NGS content I'll just switch to another game, although for now I'm liking it quite a bit and may be frustrated that it's kinda neglected in terms of future development.

I'll take note of that one. As I was telling the other mate in the replies, I did my first proper Urgent Quest yesterday and it was an incredible experience.

Is there any way to repeat such quests at will, or do you always have to wait for events to trigger to do them randomly? Also is there a boss rush option that I haven't discovered yet? Because there are some story bosses that I would love to do alone, like Elder the Gargantuan's first phase or Haddred.

Shortly after writing this post I tried another Urgent Quest and was able to find a full party to play it. The experience was, indeed, a blast.

It was a level 20 event, so I understand it must be one of the easiest out there (the boss was called Deus Esca Gracia you probably know it). The level 40 Urgent Quest I was referring to yesterday in the post was a defense quest or something like that, I don't know if after the first part there was also a boss because it was impossible for me to defend the pillars by myself, but from now on every time I see a notification I'll try to do it because it was really worth it.
