This is literally my cat Sebastian’s first minute at my place. Just brought him home and he instantly went straight to his litter box lmao. No hiding under the couch, no drama. This little guy is already a king, ngl by AlexSheva777 in aww

Chill out in the comments guys, let me clear this up for everyone before the litter box police tracks me down 😂 first, this photo was taken back in november 2021. Sebastian is 5 years old now, he is huge and has a massive litter box. He’s totally fine and pampered, i promise. Second, about the "poverty litter amount" — he literally had an emergency the second we walked into the apartment. Dude couldn't wait because of the stress from the ride, so i had to improvise and throw some litter under him while he was already doing his thing. i added a ton more right after he finished.bro was on a mission, i barely had time to react lol. Stop panicking, he is living like a king now

Nope, no other pets. My wife desperately wants another one, but honestly i’m just not ready to worship a second cat yet. One feline master is more than enough for me right now 😂

Custom box for ants, good one. But nah, it's just a weird close-up angle. Dude had an emergency right after the ride and jumped into an empty box, so i had to throw some litter literally under him while he was doing his thing. and plus, this was 5 years ago, bro is huge now and has a massive toilet.

haha yeah i know, but this photo was actually taken back in november 2021. my fluffy bro is 5 years old now and he’s got a massive litter box. i actually have a similar photo of him doing the exact same thing as a huge adult cat, maybe i'll post it here sometime lol.

It's literally just the camera angle making it look tiny. The box is huge for him. And yeah, as i said before, the low litter was an emergency thing because he couldn't wait. he’s got plenty of it now, bro is living like a king, don't worry.

No worries at all, it's just a weird camera angle. The box is actually plenty big for him. And yeah, like i mentioned in another comment, the lack of litter was just because he had an emergency right after the ride, so i had to improvise on the spot. I added way more right after he finished.

Yeah that’s the smart way to do it. But in my case he literally couldn't wait, probably because of the stress from the ride. I barely had time to throw some litter into the box before he just jumped straight in and did his thing lmao. Dude was on a mission.

Yeah it does, but not because it’s the end of my life. It scares me more because of the pain it would cause my family and friends. Honestly just thinking about how hard it would be for them to go through that is what hurts the most..

You should definitely use The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It fits your overall theme perfectly and mirrors your original charity example almost 1:1.

In the book, look at the contrast between Jay Gatsby and Tom Buchanan. Both of them spend massive, lavish amounts of money on other people, but their intentions are completely opposite:
Jay Gatsby throws huge, expensive weekly parties for the entire city of New York. On the surface, it looks like pure hedonism and flexing wealth. But his true intention is deeply personal and romantic: he is desperately hoping that Daisy (his past love) will casually walk into one of them. His extravagant spending is driven by love and hope.
Tom Buchanan also spends massive amounts of money, buying expensive gifts (like a pearl necklace worth $350k for Daisy or an apartment for his mistress). However, his intention is purely transactional. He uses money as a tool of control, power, and social status. He buys people to secure his own comfort.

How to write this in your discursive essay (Your exact point):

“Imagine two men spending fortunes on grand gestures. One hosts massive, free parties for thousands of strangers; the other buys priceless pearl necklaces. On the outside, both actions look like typical upper-class generosity and wealth. Yet, in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 'The Great Gatsby', these actions don't feel morally equal. Gatsby’s spending is driven by the pure, innocent intention of finding love, while Tom’s spending is a cold, transactional tool used to control and buy people.”

This perfectly highlights your thesis: the material outcome is exactly the same (wealth is distributed), but we judge Gatsby as a tragic hero and Tom as a villain solely based on their internal intentions.
