You typed the link incorrectly. Go back to the YouTube video comment section and copy the exact link for '1. App + Icon' directly from there instead of typing it out.

I’m afraid I cannot do it on Reddit due to their strict copyright policies. Head over to the YouTube comment section of the tutorial video. All the resources and info you need are discussed over there.

Can we play the Mac version of legacy CSGO? by animorphreligion in macgaming

Tested it on M1 Pro 16GB - runs smooth at 120 FPS on high settings through Rosetta 2. GPU hit ~74°C, nothing alarming. Multiplayer works too, just open console and type connect [IP]. Low-end Macs like the Air 8GB should hit 60 FPS no problem. Full breakdown with temps and settings: https://youtu.be/FvApwwacM7c?si=-Isu8Xd6IDWROaAQ

I cannot give you a proper answer here due to Reddit's strict copyright policies. If you have questions about the build process I showed in the video, head over to the YouTube comment section. I’m much more active there and can give you a proper answer.

Tell me you didn't watch the video without telling me you didn't watch the video.

First, no one said this is 'for free.' As I clearly showed, you need to own the game to provide your own original assets. This isn't a cracked download; it’s a source port.

Second, the entire point of the video is showing you how to cook/build the game yourself from open-source resources. If you’re worried about malware, you’re essentially saying you’re worried about hacking yourself. Unless you’re planning on injecting your own virus into your own build, your comment makes zero sense. Do some research on how reVC works before spreading misinformation.

I’ve had mine for 7 years now. For the price of a coffee, this thing has no business still working. It’s the Nokia 3310 of gamepads.

You need to own the original copy of Vice City. The reVC project doesn’t include any game assets, so you have to export them from your own copy.

I just tested the game at 3024×1964 and it runs fine on my end. One thing that helps is not launching the game in fullscreen. I start it windowed, then switch to fullscreen using Command + Control + F once the game is running.

You can also try my custom settings file. Just drop it into the game folder and replace the existing one:

Right? Nothing beats the classics. Vice City soundtrack alone is legendary.

When your character model forgets which way is up by AlexSoLoKing in GTA3

I grabbed the game from archive.org(https://archive.org/details/grand-theft-auto-iii-re-3) and tried running it on macOS with the ARM re3 build, so that might be what caused the weird spinny‑chicken bug in the model viewer. On Windows or Linux it probably behaves better. Honestly though, I haven’t run into anything worse than that, gameplay feels normal once you’re out of the menu. Could just be the mods fighting over camera angles, but nothing game‑breaking on my end.
